My place is close to the city center. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the people, and the light. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

I have been married to my best friend for 21 years, have four children ages 12-19, and love to renovate old homes. Last year I was diagnosed with cancer, endured chemo, lost all my hair, and now feel the need to finish something I started years ago - learn French. If I could find a job that allowed me to drink GOOD coffee, meet interesting new people and hear their stories, I would apply immediately. I am passionate about learning and trying new things, and then rushing back to my kids to encourage them to try it too. When I was in my twenties I traveled all over the world, and I look forward to being able to do that again soon.
Things I like:
1. Anything French
2. Movies: Ken Burns films, Into the Arms of Strangers, Fletch, Rabbit Proof Fences, The Way, Tracks, etc...
3. Books: A Severe Mercy, Glass Castle, The Fountainhead, Same Kind of Different as Me, Escaped, The Stars Between the Sun and the Moon, Alive
4. Food: home cooked by someone who loves to cook
As a guest arriving after a long flight and adjusting to the new time zone, I will be very tired and a little loopy, but after a good night's sleep, I should bounce right back.
