Hello Mary Ann, Thank you for your nice review. By the way, we are a registered B&B in NOTL and use many booking agencies, including Airbnb. I would like to provide you with some general information about Bed & Breakfast establishments, because I think you are misunderstanding B&B's. Because a B&B is in a private home and is a secondary use for that home, almost all B&B's have a set breakfast time. Last year, breakfast was set at 9am, but we got so many guest requests to have it earlier, that we changed the time to 8am for this year. The reason for the change is that many guests have booked wine tours etc., that start at 9am. My husband and I are also very active in the community and the earlier time this year is allowing us to attend morning meetings and honour our volunteer commitments. When people come to a B&B, it is to see what the area offers and they are happy to get an early start to their day, so that they can fit in as much as possible. Had you mentioned that 8am was too early for you, we'd have left a continental breakfast out for you. However, I only cook a hot breakfast for 8am., because this is not a restaurant and we have other activities in our lives. Another thing about B&B's that you might not realize, is that we actually only provide Bed and Breakfast, literally, and the expectation is that the guests will go out for the day and allow the owners the private use of their home. Perhaps a hotel or Inn would be a better choice for you, since you could sleep as long as you like and still find breakfast or brunch. Thanks again for your booking.
