A lovely little bedroom located in the heart of Downtown, Sacramento. One block away from the Lightrail Station. One block away from R Street (the Historic District). Walking distance from lots of delicious eateries & bars.
Tenants will have access to kitchen/dining room, and a small amount of fridge space as well. The kitchen is pretty well equipped and has a gas stove.
Please note: this my personal space, my bedroom, that I offer to other travelers while I am away working.
The space is clean, small but spacious, and peaceful. Hardwood floors throughout the house give it an earthy feel. This flat is located on the ground level of a newly remodeled, older victorian. The second story is an attorney's office, that operates 9-5p, M-F, so needless to say, there isn't much neighbor noise. **Upon arrival PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB UPSTAIRS TENANTS**
This area of town is incredibly walkable! The Capital is just a few blocks away, as well as the Convention Center, the Masonic Hall, Golden 1 Arena and the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium.
Guests have access to the first bedroom on the right. The bathroom (on the left of the hallway). And kitchen access. There is a small shelf in the fridge reserved for your things (PLEASE CLEAN OUT YOUR BELONGINGS BEFORE LEAVING). You also have access to the dining room, the kitchen table is big & makes for a great workspace (it's surrounded by windows).
I will not be immediately available while you are visiting, and my roommate will be in & out, after welcoming you & showing you the space. The rest of the time he will be coming & going. We are both Yoga teachers, and in love with movement.
If you are interested in private Yoga lessons, Yoga Nidra, AcroYoga, or Thai massage please let us know. If time allows we offer private lessons at a discounted rate, for our guests.
I have one small, old dog. She is a 16 yr. old, female and will typically be traveling with me. So it's likely that you won't be crossing paths with her. She's a sweet old lady.
And lastly, as I mentioned already, the light rail is conveniently close. Being in the heart of downtown Sacramento has many perks but it's a fully functioning city, and that typically means there are city noises. For the best night's rest, I would recommend ear plugs.
Please clean up after yourself. Do NOT light any candles. Do your own dishes. Please remove your shoes at the door. Please enjoy your meals in the kitchen, no eating in the bedroom! Before you leave, please strip the bedding off the bed, and leave it on the floor.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
I'm always on the go. Whether it's work related or getting outside to play. I teach yoga and love movement of all kinds. I also enjoy hiking, mountain biking, climbing, yoga, acrobatics, camping, snowboarding and beer tasting. I'm an adventure addict and a workaholic.
I am a local artist at Trader Joe's, here in Sacramento. And I am also a Professional Doodler part time, in Calaveras County. I mostly work with custom hand-lettering and modern calligraphy.
