Ashram Sri Lanka is a private jungle at Tengalle . There are two simply made, moderate houses (earth houses) which you can share with other visitors. The way of life in the Ashram Sri Lanka is to observe the liberation of life through giving-up material things, patience and tolerant. You should embrace the minimum living condition life style with respect and in time, you will gain a deeper knowledge of the content and style of life over here. Hopefully, you will realize the value of being and living with nothing (a very simple way of living) in the life of helping with the farming in the Ashram.(give life to the tree it will give your life back)
Consumption or possession of all kind of drugs and non-vegetarian food (including eggs) is prohibited. Gambling inside the premises is totally forbidden.
Be silence in all aspects and please only speak when it is necessary. Please speak softly and do not play music loudly. Do not play radios or tape recorders in the residences as it will disturb others. Loud singing of Bahamians by groups or individuals in the open areas or in residential quarters is not permitted.
Please keep the room/hall clean.
Kindly use the minimum of electricity / kerosene, oil and water. Turn off the taps and switch off lights/fans before leaving.
Please do not leave lighted candles or scented sticks when you are not in the room.
Security of your personal belongings is your responsibility.
Please do not dry clothes in veranda or in other common places.
Please take care to preserve the cleanliness of the Ashram.

Meditation @ Yoga
In this ashram older members will teach newcomers about the yoga and meditation if they don’t know. You can trust and be assured that the elders are teachers in the relevant subject, so you can learn from them and teach yourself in the ashram.
Please don’t come to look for a teacher in the ashram, because you’re the best teacher to yourself. (The things what you know and the things you haven’t taught yourself yet) so this is the place for that…
Relax and follow (yourself) slowly….you will make it to the last destination soon (Nirvana), it’s not far if you can be conscious in everything and the manner… This is not a place to copy or imitate someone, this is place to relax, revise, analyze yourself and Understand who you are ….(self purification)
