Welcome to our characterful 3 bed Victorian home in central Weymouth. You will find the beach and railway station a short walk away as well as shops, restaurants and the charming inner harbour.

We request a minimum stay of seven nights for June, July & August (with a preferred check in on Saturdays).

For other times of the year, there is a minimum stay of three nights (two for Fri/ Sat night stays), however, we are open to enquiries.

Perfect for couples, friends and family, our family house is a lovely three storey Grade II listed mid terrace, with three bedrooms, lounge and dining room and a south facing courtyard garden.

The loft (up two flights of stairs) has a king size bed, chest of drawers, dressing table and hanging space.

The first floor (up one flight of stairs) has two bedrooms. One is a twin room with two single beds, shelves and hanging space.
The single room has a single bed (Laura Ashley Hastings Day Bed), chest of drawers and hanging space.

There are full length mirrors, bedside table(s) and lamp(s) in each bedroom.

On the ground floor, there is a cosy lounge with coffee table and TV/DVD player and a separate dining room with space to comfortably sit five people.

The kitchen is well equipped and allows access to the south facing rear courtyard garden. In the garden you'll find a garden table & chairs for al fresco dining. There is also a clothes line.

Also through the kitchen is the downstairs family bathroom which has a sink, Wc and a lovely free standing bath with a shower attachment.

The house has old wooden floor boards throughout- slippers/ indoors shoes are recommended!


Check in is after 4pm on day of arrival.

Departure time is by 10am on day of departure.


We love our guests to have a great time at our house. If, during your stay, you have any questions, you can always give one of us a call.


There is a guidebook at the house and we shall send you a message a few days before you arrive with useful information too.

The house is self catering. The nearest cornershop is a 2mins walk away. If you wish to stock up on route, there are a handful of large supermarkets (Morrisons / Sainsbury (home delivery service available) / Asda) as you drive into town.

In the kitchen, you will find a gas hob, oven, fridge, microwave oven, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle & toaster. It is suitably stocked with utensils, plates etc located in cupboards and drawers.

The bathroom consists of a WC, basin and bath with shower hose attachment- pls see photo.

** Please remember to bring your own bath & hand towels. Slippers / indoor shoes are also recommended as the house has old floorboards throughout.

Due to the steep staircase, young children and the elderly are advised to take care.

Red Sky is a family home which we are happy to share with you. Please adhere to the following to keep things happy for everyone

- No smoking on the premises.

- No pets.

- No parties or events.

NB * The cleaning fee is to cover petrol costs for us to come and do the changeover.

On departure, please-

- Leave the place as you found it.

- Tidy and put things away, especially items in the kitchen. We do not expect to wash and put things you have used back in the drawers and cupboards*.

- Turn off taps and if you have put it on, the heating too (Instructions in the red file).

- Double lock the front door, replace the key and scramble the code. Close the black shutter of the key safe, please.

Please note-
- Only the stated number of booked guests may use the property. Please specify the number of guests (adults and children) staying when you make your booking request.
Maximum number of people at anytime - 5.

- Things will and do get broken. Please let us know immediately so we can make arrangements. The cost to replace items lost/ damaged/ broken will be claimed from your deposit.

Loved our stay here! The home was centrally located and a quick walk to everything. Close to a car park and the train station for easy arrival. The seagulls are pretty loud all night and there is no stand-up shower, but it was a great stay in a lovely home that was very convenient to everything. A few rows off the water, you get a more residential feel than touristy.

The house is close to central and very clean as described. Hosts are nice. I would recommend this place to young people. However, it would be better to visit here during the summer. Thanks for sharing your lovely house with us.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for us. Having never been to Weymouth before Kirsten and Andy were so helpful with a book of helpful tips and good recommendations, a place absolutely central, a hot bath after swimming in the nearby sea and a comfortable beds in queit rooms. I'd highly recommend staying.

Lovely little cottage that was very clean and well equipped. Plenty of room for a family of 2 adults and 3-4 children. Great location, close to beach and harbor and restaurants etc. lovely stay. Public parking close by but can be a little expensive, in our opinion. There maybe cheaper options available.

Kirsten and Andy were brilliant - and helped immediately when we had any problems - e.g. with my foreign mobile not being accepted for the parking costs. The house is in a great location for using the beach - and loved the sandcastle making and crabbing so much that most of the trips we'd planned were never undertaken!

Kirsten and Andy have a lovely warm and welcoming home, with the best comfy beds! The house is located close to the beach where we spent all of our time, which was perfect. The town is also very close, so you're nice and handy for a spot of shopping and restaurants/cafes also. They have everything you need there, and were super responsive to any questions we had. All instructions were very clear and great visitor information also. Thank you!
