Bnb on Kings is situated in one of the best streets in Moss Vale. There are lovely walks around the neighborhood. We have a bike track just down the hill about 1 km which is perfect for a beautiful early morning walk along the river. The bike track takes you into Bowral, so if you do enjoy bike riding don't forget to bring your bikes.
Moss Vale tends to have more of a rural feel than Bowral. You can walk to the end of my street and see Horses, Kangaroos and feel like you are in the country.
There are some great homeware shops in Moss Vale. Susie Anderson emporium is a must see for the high end shopper. There is also The Mossy store and Rabbit Trap which both sell beautiful local hand made furniture and an eclectic mix of textiles and hand crafted products. Great for gifts or just looking. Made by Others is another great gift shop selling dinosaur design and clothing and a nice place to enjoy a coffee or tea and a snack.
There are great wineries surrounding Moss Vale.
Mount Ashby is just outside of town on the Fitzroy falls road. They make beautiful wine and you will also find Sally Beresford antiques here as well. This a beautiful venue for lunch or wine tasting. Southern highlands wineries also provides breakfast on the weekends and have some delicious wines. We have a boutique wine bar opening in the next few weeks.
Bowral is a 5-10 minute drive away where you can explore all the great shops and restaurants that it has to offer.
Exeter and Bundanoon and Berrima are all very close from Moss Vale and all have their own charm and beauty.
I am usually here to greet you on arrival. I will show into the flat and show you around, and then, unless you need me I will leave you to enjoy your privacy.
There is an electric gate at the front of the property. I will leave the gate open for guests on arrival.
I do like to shut the gate at night just to keep all tenants and cars locked up safely. There is a remote provided with the key so you can stay in your car and open and shut the gate.
- smoking allowed outside on deck. Ashtray will be provided.
- Please consider noise levels for neighbours and residence
- please do not feed the fat dog 'Leuca". He will no doubt come begging for food and love. He is on a permanent diet.
- Please shut gate coming in and out of property
I have lived in the Southern Highlands for 25 years and love the country life, great restaurants, cafes and friendly people, and our close proximity to the coast and the city. I am a designer and woodworker living with my two teenage children, a Cocker Spaniel and a Princess Parrot. We love to entertain, often in the garden around the bonfire under the big starry skies. My love of travel and passion for cultures are reflected in the eclectic collections of textiles and unusual objects around the house. We love all kinds of art, films, music and dancing.
