This house is in the McKinley Neighborhood of Minneapolis. Located 2 miles from the edge of Downtown Minneapolis (the North Loop area) and just across the bridge from NE.
Don't just stay in "a house." Come stay in a premier property that has all the style and comfort of home! The house is a beautiful Mission-style home built in the 1920's. The maple floors have been restored and refinished. The original oak trim and detailed mouldings are on the 1st floor, featuring the box-beam ceiling in the LR and DR. The house has an updated kitchen with brand new stainless appliances, French door fridge, professional gas range, dishwasher, disposal, pot rack, and over and under the cabinet task and accent lighting.
Both full bathrooms have been redone, and the house has been fully furnished and decorated professionally.
The property also features a great outdoor space, with large deck and patio furniture for relaxing, also comes with a 5 burner gas grill (again, if you use a lot or all the gas we ask you pay additional). The yard is completely fenced, which makes it great for pets! Pets are welcome (additional pet rent required)!
The house has a few window AC units but NOT whole-house AC. Just FYI. It stays pretty cool.
There's also a 2 car garage and 2 additional off-street parking spaces for cars.

You have access to the whole house. No reason to go into the basement though except for longer-term stays, that's where the laundry is.
I live nearby and am always available via text/phone if there's an issue. I can come by if there's a problem which requires my presence. I am available to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Please note though this is NOT a hotel. There is no "front desk" to handle all issues at all hours. I do my best to accommodate and solve all requests but there are times when I'm busy or may not be able to respond ASAP. :)
Please remove your shoes at all times while inside the property.
During the season, if you're staying longer-term (more than 1 day), you may be required to water plants/flowers, etc. if host is unable. You will be charged for damaged/dead flowers or plants due to lack of water.
The yard is fenced, great for pets! We are pet-friendly, we just ask you pay an additional amount per pet per night and pickup after your pet after your stay. Please cover some of the furniture for larger pets with claws.
Cooking supplies/materials are provided. However, if you use a ton of something (like olive oil, spices, etc. for example) please replace what you use.
The Edison/vintage bulbs are beautiful, but expensive. Please turn off lights when you're gone/not using them. Be green! Thank you.
Please do not move any furniture around (aside from DR chairs, etc.) or ever remove anything from the property.
Take care of the outdoor patio cushions, please store when rain is scheduled.
Please leave the house in the condition you found it. Leave towels on tile floor.
The house is child and pet friendly. However, that does not necessarily mean the house is child PROOF. Also please keep large pets or pets with claws off leather furniture, anything else which may be soiled or damaged.
*Park in back. Enter via back gate. On back door, enter code (provided after booking) and press the LOCK icon. GENTLY push in the door as it unlocks. When you leave, leave out the back, close door, press the LOCK icon. Do NOT lock the handle.
*2 off-street parking space in back alley, fence to fence. Do not park on neighbor's driveway.
*garage might not be available for use. Ask host for details.
*(usually) all the lights are on for presentation purposes for your arrival. Once settled in, please turn lights off in areas you're not using. Save energy, and those (expensive) Edison bulbs! :)
*one garbage can is for recycling, one for trash. Please separate. Please review Minneapolis guidelines for recycling and follow them.
*please turn the front and rear exterior lights on/off at dusk/dawn.
*the WiFi code is on the router
*garbage disposal switch is under the sink.
*please do not clean the stainless appliances with anything but stainless cleaner and paper towels.
*beer/wine is not gratis. Beer is $3 per and wine is $10/bottle. There are 0 beers and 12 bottles at the house. Any missing will be added to the rent.
*Please enter/exit out the backdoor. When leaving, close door and press the lock icon. Do NOT lock the handle. Enter as previously described.
*please do not move furniture around. If need to move something let me know.
*extra airbeds are in the front sunroom.
*shoes off at all times inside.
*absolutely no fires in fireplace.
*please run bathfans at least 20 minutes after showering
*when you leave, please tidy up/leave house in condition you arrived. You do NOT need to make the beds :) Please leave all used towels on either bathroom floor.
