Off street parking just outside entry door.  surrounding forest provides unusual privacy, and many birds, deer, and other wildlife. Excellent fishing. A glance at the bedroom with full size bed and storage unit, ceiling gan, desk, and armoire. Maple hardwood floating floor throughout.

Spacious furnished apt in private woodland backs to 500ac lake 2000ac regional park. On site parking, full bath, laundry, living room sofa 3/4 bed, dining and kitchen areas w/ceiing fan, and bedrm w/ ceiling fan, desk, armoire. 10ft ceilings, quality art, wifi, FIOS high spd internet, smart tv w/Netflix+, small patio, very private. large windows, central air, radiant heat. Marilyn was very welcoming and very friendly. The interior space is nice. With a few touch ups like a new couch and mattress the place will be very nice. The price was great for the area. Very quiet area. The yard surrounding the house could use some work, some old pieces of furn…

David, Melanie and their dog were guests for four months and did not call my attention to either the couch or the mattress during their tenure. This was the second time that I accepted guests with a dog. In each instance, I have seen the dog on the sofa, and judging from the condition to the mattress, it appears that the pets were also permitted on the bed. I must now replace both the mattress and the large and recently purchased microfiber sofa, and specify a "no pets policy" for this furnished apartment as exists with our other guest quarters. My "Mini-Mountain" property is slightly more than 11 acres, mostly wooded, and backs to a 2000 acre regional park and 500 ac lake. We value its natural beauty and wildlife, and have planted many native nut and fruit trees, as well as herbs and ornamentals to complement the mature oaks, hickory and poplars. We cleared small areas surrounding the structures, but do not pretend to maintain manicured lawns. We garden organically without the use of chemical fertilizers or toxic weed killers, and love the wild flowers. None of the structures are visible from the public road or neighboring properties. The "tent" is shelter for my son's prize Corvette. The other two on-site vehicles are his Volvo family car and his pickup truck, both of which are licensed and in working condition. These are parked in the driveway immediately in front of the family entrance to the residence, where he enjoys tinkering with his vehicles, one of the benefits of living in a secluded setting. The guest parking area is on a lower level in front of the apartment's private entrance. Without my permission or knowledge, an upholstered rocking chair was moved outside the apartment by a previous tenant for his convenience when smoking, and because it was hidden under the second floor deck behind my son's "Porche Project", I didn't notice it. Now weather damaged, it has been taken to the dump. We also welded a damaged leg of the wrought iron cafe table and chair patio set, so that it is again in service. The handyman who assists me with maintenance of our properties Monday through Friday, transports to the end of our long gravel driveway the trash and recycling containers including, when requested, the containers adjacent to the apartment. Pickup is once a week on days specified by our contracted rural trash service. The rear frame of the pine armoire (ie tv cabinet) in the great room has been reinforced so that this extra IKEA storage unit is now more stable. The gutters of this tall post and beam home are cleaned out in the fall of each (Website hidden by Airbnb) more salad! I appreciate the feedback and suggestions from David and Melanie. If I had received them while they were in residence, we could have taken timely action. The rental rate is modest for a furnished apartment of this size, quality, and location, and is rarely unoccupied. The exterior photo of the house on the airbnb post is not a close up, but rather the beautiful lakeview side of the house, with its enormous window walls that one sees from the lawn area. The gravel driveway passes by what is actually the back side of the house, the family entrance, with childrens' bikes and scooters, trash cans, and general work area.
