There is always a dedicated lounge area for our guests to enjoy whilst staying. Depending on availability, this will be either within our first floor Annexe (listed separately) which comprises of a lounge, dining area and small kitchen, or alternatively, guests will have the opportunity to relax in the Summer Room. This opens out through French windows to the landscaped gardens and fields beyond. Guests who are using the Summer Room are most welcome to prepare a hot drink in the main kitchen.
We're very friendly people but respectful of guest privacy so whilst we enjoy having a chat we are very happy to be able to provide a separate guest lounge and dining area and leave guests to enjoy their surroundings in peace.
We provide a very nice and healthy continental breakfast in the kitchen for you to help yourselves - artisan bread, jam, fruit, yoghurt, real coffee, selection of teas, cereal, porridge.
Consideration and good manners will ensure we love you!

We love the outdoor life, sailing, skiing, sea swimming, hiking. We also love good food, art, visiting the theatre, cooking delicious dinners for friends and enjoying their company around our large family dining table. We like people and like authentic places to stay with lots of character. We adore visiting Europe and have spent a lot of time in France and Northern Spain. We've just discovered the delights of Italy on a recent cycling from Vicenza to Venice trip (I cheated and hired an electric bike!) and will definitely spend some more time there. Luckily for us we work for ourselves and can arrange holiday times to suit our own schedule. As hosts, we're respectful of peoples privacy and want people to have a very comfortable and easy stay with us.
