Whittington Farm is directly on the Cotswold Way, 5 miles north of Bath and 5 minutes' drive south from Junction 18 of the M4 motorway.
We have a guest suite with a double and a twin guest bedroom, a wet room and second wc. We also have a pool room for the private use of guests, with a wood burner and 'endless pool'.
Bath, Badminton, Castle Combe and Dyrham Park are less than 15 minutes away and some of the most beautiful walking country that the Cotswolds has to offer is on the doorstep.
Guests have private use of the pool room which has a dining area, seating area with woodburner and an 'endless pool'. There are two bedrooms up a separate staircase, linked by a small landing. If you book a room we will only let out the second room to members of your party. This means that you will be assured of a high level of privacy, although the family use the main part of the house. There is a large lawned garden and outdoor seating areas which guests are very welcome to use.
One of the rooms has a kingsize bed and the other has a small double and bespoke bunk beds with built-in shelves and lighting. Prices include full cooked breakfast and cream tea on arrival. There is plenty of free parking.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden, and meals may be served outside in the summer.
We'll be delighted to welcome you to our home and to provide as much information as possible.
The guest area includes a utility room with tea and coffee, a kettle, a sink and a small fridge. Guests would be welcome to bring their own food to eat in the pool room and I'd be happy to provide plates and cutlery and wine glasses but please note that there is no guest kitchen.
Peace and quiet is a feature of the property and we would be grateful if you are not too noisy after 11pm. Partly because of safety issues with the pool, this is not a suitable venue if you plan to consume excessive amounts of alcohol.
There's a dining table in the pool room and we'd be very happy to provide plates, cutlery and glasses if you would like to bring your own food and drinks for dinner. Tea and coffee is provided and there is a small fridge, but please note that there is no guest kitchen.
