High-ceilinged apartment (60m2), with large private balcony, in the heart of Budapest's Palace District. This very feminine, historic building, was specially built in 1898 for the Transylvanian countess, Ilona Balási. It was also home to Hungarian writer, Mór Jókai.
We welcome all guests.
We're a few minute's walk from trams and metros. Atmospheric market halls, hidden squares, playgrounds, a lively café quarter, restaurants and bars all nearby. The River Danube is a short walk away.
No extra, unregistered guests. You can only bring the number of guests you have booked in your reservation. If you bring in or invite extra guests after your booking, we will ask you to find another place to stay.
Let us know when you are going to arrive, so that we can plan to meet you on time, show you around and give you the keys.
Check out is 11 am. If you would like to stay longer, it is often possible, but please ask first.
We are two friends, both busy mothers of girls, who love living in Budapest. We know how lucky it is to find a comfortable and affordable place to stay in while travelling, and hope we can give visitors to Budapest something of the same.
