Close to Galway city we have two rooms to offer. One has two double beds and the other has one double bed and a bunk bed that sleeps three!
Fun and fabulous food awaits!
Our home is filled with love and lots of delicious (and nutritious) food. If you are a picky eater, or a traveling with a picky eater, then this is not the place for you. We cook from scratch every day, always have salad on the table and no processed foods in the house.
You are welcome to lounge in the sitting room, or hang in the kitchen where all the action is. You are also welcome to sit outside - weather permitting!
We are always happy to help our guests discover all the hidden Galway gems.
We have a dog and a cat who really rule the roost. We also have a Tween (boy aged 11) and a Teen (Girl aged 13) so, there is plenty of attitude flying about.
- We do not live near public transport. A taxi in to town costs €15

I Write. He Cooks. The kids make a big mess. (and then we make them clean it up!).
A native Galway girl, and her husband (from Alabama) happy to host you in their home for a night or longer! We do have two tweens ... so beware - there is a lot of attitude flying about.
Our philosophy on life is simple. Life is short. Make the most of it - every day.
We cook fresh from scratch meals every day and don't have processed foods in the house.
There is no TV and limited use of very poor wifi service due to living near the lake (to the Left) and the ocean (to the right). You are welcome to watch an odd selection of DVDs though. And we have an in-ground trampoline so you can sweat off any excess breakfast you might consume!
And, did I mention himself is a Master Baker ... think fresh Sourdough ... every day. A little slice of heaven here in Galway.
Come stay with us!
