Handmade gypsy wagon on our view property in beautiful, quiet Plain, WA. 14 miles from Leavenworth. Close to many outdoor activities. Single bed which pulls out to queen size , shower, composting toilet. Stove with oven, fridge and sink. Deck with fire pit. Great for a quiet, simple getaway.
This is a gypsy wagon parked on our property. The wagon has basic kitchen facilities (fridge, freezer, sink, oven and stove) as well as a camp stove for the deck. The bathroom is tiny, 2'x4', with a composting toilet and shower that has on-demand hot water. In caring for the wagon, we use all natural and bio-degradable cleaners and detergents without strong smells.
Please do not rely on your GPS to get you here. Use directions provided through the link on your itinerary.
When you arrive at our property, the blue wagon is accessed by driving past the house and storage sheds (veering left where the driveway splits).
When you arrive, please message to let us know you are here. We will come and greet you and show you the ins and outs of the gypsy wagon if we are able when you arrive. Otherwise, please read CAREFULLY the information sheet just inside the wagon door. Thanks :)
Andrew has a custom woodworking shop on the property and Becky home-schools one of our kids, so we are around much of the time.
The wagon is on our private property and home, this is not a party venue, but if you are looking for a quiet private retreat with access to lot of outdoor activities, this is your place to be. No smoking allowed on the property please.
Guests may use the facilities in the wagon and on the deck, but are asked to please clean up after any cooking spills and usage of dishes, cookware, etc. Internet is not available at the blue wagon, however free wifi is available at Plain Hardware store just a couple minutes drive from us (and it's a fun place to check out with their Italian sodas, gourmet coffees and great gift shop).

Andrew, the builder of this wagon, is a custom woodworker, working out of his wood shop on the property. When he's not building, he might be found devouring a book or getting outdoors to fly fish, mountain bike or surf. He also loves teaching woodworking, and can arrange custom building classes upon request.
