Any food/ingredients in open cabinets are available to you, please be courteous, if anything gets used up please either replace it or make a note for me so that I can do so. Always feel free to ask any questions about using anything.
You have full access to the house and yard. Inside in the hall cabinet there are games. The front bedroom has extra linens if needed. Help yourself to any sports or beach equipment in the sun room. Outside feel free to use or move things as you'd like, which includes the heater, furniture, firewood, BBQs, and grilling tools.
Unless otherwise noted you will have the home to yourself with code access to the front door. I value your privacy, but will be available for any questions by phone, text or email.
The thermostat is Wifi enabled and can be controlled remotely from any mobile device through an app available for you to download. The house also has an electronic keypad for access where you will have a custom user code. Backup keys are also available to you if needed.
Feel free to enjoy the outdoor fireplace respectfully and responsibly. Please do not burn "green waste" (leaves, branches, etc), household materials or other waste. Please only use dry wood and thoroughly put out any fire to keep the smoke to a minimum. I believe the number to call to check permissive burn days, per the APCD regulations, is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). There is a hose in the back of the house to put out the fire, please be sure to turn it off after use.
The indoor fireplace is currently non-operational, but please enjoy the ambiance with the series of candles in its place.
I do currently live part-time in the home, so understand that the home is not completely vacant (partial closet/cupboard/kitchen space). I will always try to leave reasonable spare space and accessories. Let me know if there is anything I can do to accommodate any specific needs.
Please respect any locks and do not hesitate to ask if you have difficulties or questions with anything! I want to make your stay easy and enjoyable and everything you desire from a vacation get away.
California and Paso Robles remain under strict water restrictions so please excuse mine and any other lawns left dormant for the time being. Also remember to use care with your water usage and fire safety.
The home is still relatively new to me, and therefore I am in the process of a series of minor upgrades, so please excuse any ongoing work (paint, baseboards, tools). Everything will always be in clean, working order, and don't hesitate to contact me with questions.
Please respect my house and the contents as you would expect others to respect your own space.
If you are leaving the house, please close and lock the windows and doors to keep out the local wildlife and protect both your things as well as mine.
If you will be out of the house, please turn off electronics and unnecessary lights and set the thermostat to a reasonable range to save electricity.
Be safe with the fireplace and monitor it while in use. There is a hose on the side of the house and a fire extinguisher under the sink should you need it. Paso can get windy and there is a lot dry brush nearby, please use extreme caution with any flames.
Feel free to use the dishwasher or washing machine/dryer. Please respect that we are under some water restrictions and remember to be responsible with water usage.
Do not use metal utensils in pots and pans, there are spatulas and plastic cooking tools in the second drawer which will not damage them. Please do not put knives or pots and pans in the dishwasher, these should be hand washed.
As with any detail, do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns!
