Convenient to all that summer offers.
Shared bath and kitchen.
Eric's brother Corey was the best host we had on our trip! We loved the space, he's done beautiful work on the house and maintains one of the best gardens and Bonzai tree collections. Recommended places based on our shopping needs (my boyfriends mother sent us with a quilt store shopping list), Corey left us a note with some options. We had a great, relaxing vacation.
When my friend and I got to Eric's place at 11:30 at night (after a long drive from the airport), we apologized for being later than we had expected. Eric's response was "What are you apologizing for? It's all good!" or something to that effect. It made me feel so welcome, and it was the perfect come back! My room looked exactly as the picture, and the whole house had a lot of charm. This was my first airbnb experience, and it was a very good one! Eric was really nice, he responded quickly to emails, and we had a great chat on our last morning there. I'd definitely stay there again if I'm ever in the area again!
It was actually Eric's brother who lives there in a separate part of the house. The part he lives in is completely separate so the house feels like yours, but you have a person close by to help with any issues. Cory was very nice and even picked us up from the wedding we were at around 11pm, which was nice considering that cabs may be allusive in such a rural area. The bed was good and actually a tad nicer looking than the photo with the oriental rug-looking comforter (dark red).
Excellent airbnb experience. The room is exactly as pictured, bed is new, host was great, I had my own key to come and go. Window AC keeps the room cool. Nightlight. All the little extras in the bathroom like cups and surplus TP. Full kitchen. Easy parking. Within walking distance of a adorable general store that serves fresh pizza. Garden is gorgeous!
