Attractive large and very sunny bedroom facing south with beautiful and very comfortable French Sleigh bed ( small double) for one person and ensuite bathroom with lovely large shower . In beautiful historic Georgian Grade 1 Townhouse apartment. Very CENTRAL and next to Pulteney Bridge. In easy walking distance to: restaurants, shops, tourist attractions, railway station, and bus stop close by for the University of Bath.
This is a beautiful bedroom on the ground floor of a very elegant Georgian house. No stairs to cope with, but just three steps up from pavement to front door. The French bed is 3 foot 8’ wide ( 112 cms) x 6 foot 3 “ long ( 190 cms) and is very comfy! Suitable for one person.
This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower.
There is a 28” tv.
There is enough room for a camp bed or a child’s travel cot if guests have one child with them, which I can provide.
Access to own bedroom with en suite bath and shower. I serve a full continental breakfast which includes cereal, yogurts, fruit, home made jams and marmalade, home-made cakes/bread sometimes, and boiled eggs ( but I do not serve a full cooked breakfast) on Saturday mornings I serve it at 9.00 am, on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and during the week days, if required breakfast will served at 8:30 am. Breakfast is either taken in the elegant kitchen or on the garden balcony terrace in warm weather. I have a large and very beautiful garden. I am happy for guests to sit on the balcony or in my garden and enjoy sunshine, but I hope guests will respect my privacy as well!
I love Bath and am very familiar with the local facilities and attractions and am happy to give suggestions and helpful advice about places to visit, restaurants, cafes, exhibitions, theatre etc.
I have had many SINGLE guests staying in this room who mention that it is very easy staying with me, as they have someone to talk to, and they feel very relaxed in the city of Bath, as there are lots of friendly places to go and eat on ones own, and one never feels intimidated!
My guests keep saying that I should emphasise the beauty of my garden and the complete peace and quiet that is experienced when they stay here. The room is on the front side of the house on the ground floor, there is so little traffic noise, only the sounds of the Abbey bells ringing in the early evening for bell ringing practice.
This Airbnb is a very special place in a wonderful Georgian house with a lovely large garden. I am happy to spend time talking to guests and breakfast is a very good opportunity to chat and meet other visitors from all over the world. I take pride in attention to detail and love making the breakfast table attractive, and the guest bedrooms comfortable.

I have lived in the area for 11 years and I love the feeling of Bath being so contained and yet so diversified. We have many foreign visitors particularly parents of overseas students studying at the two universities. I enjoy my garden and work hard in it and I love visiting others. I play bridge with my friends and enjoy having them to my house. We come from a very artistic family and most of my children are very creative, the grandchildren are following suit. I enjoy going to the theatre and very often purchase tickets at the last minute to see one of our wonderful pre London productions in either the Theatre Royal or the Ustinov here in Bath. Italy is one of my favourite countries to visit, I have explored many regions, I love their way of life and am fortunate enough to have a beautiful apartment in Venice.
I enjoy baking and make home made breads and cakes as well as jams and marmalade for guests breakfast.
I love travelling and use Airbnb whenever I can, I have been to some interesting places.
I am very happy to chat to guests over breakfast making suggestions of places to visit in Bath and helpful suggestions for good eating places!
I have had over 600 people stay with me during the last 2 years, so I have been fortunate to have met a wonderful variety of guests, all interesting in their own way!
