This a very modest/cozy well-worn studio in the condo complex adjacent to the fitness center. If your sole concern is having a place to lay your head at night, this is perfect, because the location cannot be beat -- easy ski in, ski out to the mid-station on the Snubber Chairlift and a cozy gas fireplace, small patio, and grill. In addition, Laurie (the host) was immediately responsive to calls and texts.
That said, I didn't give a higher rating because there were some significant (mostly correctable) deficiencies. First, there were no face cloths, no dishtowels, one handtowel, only two full-size towels, and above all no toiletpaper (as we discovered only after having done our business)! Second, this is a pretty small place made smaller by chunky worn furniture that is beginning to break (dishwasher and pullout sofa broken). Third, the information sheet left for renters didn't provide sufficient information (for example, no wifi password listed; no clue as to where to dispose of garbage; no information about fitness club access). Fourth, something about the cleaning products used left a sickly sweet smell in the air like used lollipops (to be fair, this was all over the complex, not just in the studio). Lastly, while well-situated on the mountain, renters should know that it has a very limited view of the mountain and the only source of natural light are the sliding doors. If even some of these were addressed, this could be a four or five star place!
