Hi Samara, thanks for your feedback.
a) the café where the keys are located is pretty easy to find from the street, from the sidewalk, from pretty much anywhere, there are no obstructions to seeing the café visually, and it is also very easy to find on (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps, which you can access via any free Wi-Fi location (which there are plenty of in the city)
b) Lower Simcoe street may have been closed on the day you arrived due to construction, this is not under my control, no host can possibly mitigate this type of problem (street construction)
c) check-in is at 2pm, so if you check-in before 2pm then you are very likely to run into the cleaning staff (which you did), if the cleaning staff is still in the unit, and you've arrived earlier than the check-in time, i think it is only fair to allow the cleaning staff to complete their job
d) the parking garage is not a disaster, not sure why it needs any signs as there is only one way to drive around the parking lot to get to each level, there are no multiple roads inside the garage to confuse anybody, you are the first to complain about the garage being difficult to navigate
e) if the apartment is not clean to your satisfaction it is only fair to notify the host immediately so that I can get the cleaning staff to come back and resolve any issues that you have found (if you do not tell me then I cannot fix the problem)
f) the keys are literally located in a café across the street from the building (calling this a hassle is far from fair)
g) if the AC is a problem then I should be notified immediately to address the problem (as you can see from the reviews from all of the other guests who have written a review, i have very good communication with all of my guests)
h) the fire alarm going off at 4am is not a scheduled fire alarm, how can a host possibly warn a guest about an event (a fire alarm going off) when the host has no possible way of predicting the future?
i) the emails the resident showed you are for scheduled fire alarms DURING the daytime, not at 4am at night
j) the reviews from other guests suggest otherwise that this is an experience from hell, when i am notified immediately of problem then i respond immediately and do everything in my power to resolve them
