This apartment is stunning and was very clean upon our arrival. Location is perfect. I saw many complaints about lack of railing but it did not present a problem for us. Check in was easy. If you want to do a lot of cooking the kitchen is scantly supplied. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Stephanie's place is unique. You are living in a beautifully appointed attic with shiny inlaid wood flooring and a view of the duomo out of your large oval windows, smack down in an historic center of bustling Milan action. Earplugs are a good idea. You can walk miles comfortably to all of the sites that you wish to experience. The Last Supper is a must see and an easy walk. Make reservations in advance. Stefanie was quick to respond to our questions and needs, but we met with her property manager only. Highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect place in a lovely location! Busy neighborhood with everything you could want within a close walk but quiet enough on the top floor. The staircase is not for the faint of heart, if you need a handrail, you won't appreciate it but it's beautiful.

Great location, great apartment, but beware BUGS! We stayed here in January, with four people. Plenty of room and great location, walkable distance to Duomo, as well as lots of shops and restaurants. For authentic, non-tourist eats, get off the main roads. Great restaurants right by the Roman ruins just SW of this apartment's location. We would have been completely happy with our stay and rated it 5-stars however we woke up in the morning after staying there with multiple bug bites. Hopefully just spider bites, but always a concern for bed bugs. Had to then bag all clothes & belongings, wash and dry all on high heat, and throw away my luggage...still paranoid. Disappointed with host, because I reached out to make her aware and ensure she looked into it to prevent others from having same issue... no response. Which was a deviation from her norm, considering she responded so quickly to any questions we had before the trip and during the trip. Made it seem like she didn't care. Read through all the other reviews and one in fall 2016 also states woke up with lots of "spider bites", so seems it may be ongoing issue. If the bug problem gets fixed, would be a great place to stay.

The place was clean and looked the same as in the pics. Very cozy and in a great location. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Milan.

The location is great if you're looking to be right in the middle of the city and able to walk everywhere. The space however does not look anything like the photos except for the architecture itself. The furniture and decorations are all different and not in a good way. It felt cheap and unwelcoming — not what we had in mind for our romantic stay in this historically fashionable and artistic city. Three of the six windows were broken, the showers had poor water pressure and were not properly cleaned, and I woke up with multiple spider bites the first day. The space has amazing bare bones, but the maintenance and presentation of the space was very disappointing and lacking. Also, as a warning to other guests who are driving, this apartment is in a location called Area C, which is a restricted zone for cars in Milan. You can purchase a ticket in advance, but the website is very confusing if you're not fluent. However, there is a parking garage located conveniently nearby where you can also purchase the necessary Area C tickets to avoid a hefty fine.

I would first preface this review by saying it is not the norm for my wife and I to make negative comments. That being said there were just too many deficiencies not to comment. There were several that were hazardous. The rope banister leading to the loft bedroom was detached from the wall in the middle making it ineffective as a true support. The wall area where it had been as repaired but the bracket never reattached to the wall. The espresso pot in the kitchen had no handle and after two mornings of using a towel to safely pour from it I gave up and went out to a local shop for our morning coffee. The microwave was on top of the frig 5 1/2 feet off the ground and we have to be carried to the nearest outlet to be usable. I chose to not risk either dropping the micro or hurting myself so we never used it. There were no instructions anywhere in the unit as to how to use anything nor what services were available in the area. Every rental or time share we have stayed at in recent years, and the number exceed 30, have such a manual. I had to hunt to find extra toilet paper as there were no extra rolls in bathroom. I finally found some in a closet. No paper towels were provided for the kitchen. The stove was unusable as it would not open because it struck the door used to close off the kitchen area. The area around the stove top was filthy. There was grease on the wall adjacent to the stove top and in the space between the stove top and the wall. Two of the three windows had unattached support brackets so you either had to open them completely or leave them shut. To fix this all that will be required are two screws. The first night I had to use towels and blankets to cover the windows and keep out the city lights. I did discovered the next day that there are shades but they are in the floor and must be pulled up to be functional. We were never shown this by our greeter. Also the shades had not bracket or hook to attach to so I had to wrap the around the window lock in order for them to stay up. A number of lights seemed to be burned out or we never were able to find the correct switch to turn them on. I only found the instructions for the washer/dryer after searching and they were useless as they were only in Italian. I tried to translate on internet but never really figured out how to use dryer cycle. A lot of other little things but not worth going on about. Location was great I will say that.
