Cromald cottages are situated on a working farm two miles from Bridge of Cally near Blairgowrie, our semi detached cottages are set in an elevated position with stunning views. The Cottages are the perfect setting for a holiday in Perthshire.

Cromald Cottage West is an attractive three bedroom cottage on two floors which sleeps five. It is set in an enclosed garden, with marvellous rural views.

Ground Floor
Living room/ Diner / Kitchen: this area is an open plan living space.
Fully fitted kitchen equipped with everything you would expect.
Large dining area with views onto the garden.
Lounge has a multi fuel stove, flat screen TV, DVD and Sky Box.
Guest toilet and drying area with pulley.

Top Floor
Main bedroom has a four poster double bed, beside tables and reading lamps, a chest of drawers and a large wardrobe.
Bedroom two is a twin room with a bedside table and wardrobe.
The third bedroom is a single with beside table, chest of drawers and small hanging area.
The family bathroom has a shower over the bath.


Guest Access


The whole house is yours! and an enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ


Interaction with Guests


Manager lives across the drive, so will be on hand for any queries.


The Neighbourhood


Cromald Cottages are a perfect retreat for exploring Perthshire, Castles, fishing, golf, skiing, theatre, whisky distilleries and good shopping are all within in easy driving distance.
Historic Places of interest within 1 hr drive are Blair Castle, Glamis castle, Scone Palace, the Crannog Centre.
A drive up and through the glen of Glenshee winding your way down into Braemar, is a beautiful drive with stunning scenery.

Glenshee is Britain's most extensive ski area and is only 20 miles away from Cromald Cottages. Has the UK's Largest Ski Lift System extending over 4 mountains and 3 valleys. Accessible to all... Glenshee's impressive 38 runs cater for all standards of skier and snowboarder, from beginners through to experts. Great skiing and snowboarding in stunning scenery... Glenshee's longest run is 2 kms in length starting high up on Glas Maol, one of several mountains in the area.

Salmon & Trout Fishing - The River Ericht & Tay are all within easy reach, there are lots of lochs and River Fishing nearby.

Perthshire is home to some of the finest inland golf courses in the world and with 38 to currently choose from … you'll be spoilt for choice! - Blairgowrie, Rosemount, Alyth, Pitlochry and Dalmunzie are all within a 30 minute drive from the Cottages.

From Cromald Cottages you can set out on the Cateran Trail - A circular route 64 miles long following some of the old drove roads and ancient tracks across a varied terrain of farmland, forests and moors. It boasts breath-taking scenery.
Perthshire is also know as "Big Tree Country" - have fun finding & viewing some of the largest trees in Europe.

Perthshire has so much to offer all year round, spend your days exploring and your nights relaxing in front of the wood burning stove.

Getting Around
There is parking for 2 cars per cottage, there is limited bus service to Blairgowrie from the cottage, nearest train station 17 miles in Pitlochry, nearest bus station is in Blairgowrie, nearest Airports are Edinburgh & Glasgow

The boring stuff! -( but need to know)
Deposits
A non refundable deposit of £75 is required for each week to secure your booking.
Payments
The balance of the total rent is due 6 weeks before your holiday. A confirmation Invoice detailing the balance due will be sent. On receipt of your final payment details will be sent to you with directions and details of key collection. If the balance of the total rent remains unpaid, the property may be re-let and the deposit payment will be forfeited. Cheques - BACS Payments and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) accepted.
Short-Notice Bookings
Booking early is best for securing your preferred choice, but if you are booking within 6 weeks of your holiday, please remember that we will need full payment of your holiday rental.
Cancellation
If a holidaymaker cancels within the six weeks prior to taking up the let, having given due notice to us in writing, we shall do our utmost to re-let the property .If we are able to do so we shall refund the balance of any rent paid less the deposit of £75. If the holidaymaker cancels a booking and we are unable to re-let the property, the holidaymaker is still responsible for the balance of rent due if this has not already been paid. Non payment of the balance of the rent will be treated as a cancellation and the deposit payment will be forfeited.
Acceptance and Confirmation of your Booking is subject to the following conditions:-
Accommodation Capacity
As a condition of our insurance no more than the maximum number of persons stated in the booking form may occupy the property, cottage sleeps 5..
Arrival & Departure Times
Visitors are requested to arrive after 4 pm - please do not arrive early as time is needed to thoroughly clean and check cottages between lets. Properties should be left in a clean and tidy condition and vacated by 10 am on the Saturday morning of departure.
Balance of Payment
Full Payment of holiday home rental cost must be made to us, no later than six weeks prior to rental commencement date.
Bed Linen & towels
Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge in each holiday home When a holiday home is being rented for more than one week extra bed linen and towels will be provided.
Complaints
Complaints should be brought to the attention of the Site Manager, Kim Hodgson.
Damage
All damages and breakage's are the responsibility of the Hirer, and their cost shall be refundable on demand. However, minor damage or breakages will not normally be charged.
Heating
The price of the weekly rental includes electricity and central heating. There is a wood burning stove in the lounge (with a starter pack of wood provided free of charge) .
Insurance
It is strongly recommended that clients take out holiday insurance to cover the possibility of cancellation charge.
Liability
We are unable to accept any liability for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience whether to person or property which the applicant or any other person may suffer or sustain arising out of or in respect of any letting.
Animals
Whilst we welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at an extra cost of £15 per pet, they must not be allowed on the beds or furniture and must not be left alone in the cottages. If pets are found unaccompanied in the cottage you will be asked to vacate the property immediately. If you're pet incurs any extra cleaning costs or causes any damage to the property or it's contents you will be asked to reimburse Cally Estate Holiday Lets. Cottages must be left in a clean and tidy state, removing all pet hair from the cottage and faeces from garden area. A FLAT CHARGE OF £50 WILL BE BILLED TO YOU if this is not followed. All dogs accompanying guests to the cottages must be paid for in full before arrival and not exceed the stated amount. (this applies to ALL dogs using the cottage facilities and garden area).
Walking
Please bear in mind that Cromald Cottages are located on a working farm, and dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and we ask you not to walk through fields with livestock in them as animals are wild and unpredictable and we can not guarantee your safety.
Smoking
We operate a policy of no smoking in the cottages.
