The apartment is spacious, with a nice layout. The neighborhood is great, and Phil and his staff were super. There is a full-size washer and dryer, and the hosts kindly supplied detergent. The parking space is easy to access, and the space itself is wide and easy to drive in to. I didn't expect an A/C window unit in an apartment this modern. Further, the unit was in the bedroom, so we had to open the door to the bedroom to cool the main living area. It was also uncomfortable to have the A/C blowing on me while in bed. Opening the widows was not an option, because it let in the constant, loud noise of the air-conditioning units on the roof of the next building. There are units on the street side of the building (we were in the back), ask for one of those. Halifax was experiencing a heat wave, so maybe the A/C is normally not necessary.

The location, next to Citadel Hill, was close to the shopping and restaurants on Spring Garden Road and within easy walking distance of the historic Halifax harbour. The apartment has all of the amenities needed for a business or personal trip, was bright and open, and had a great security system. The underground parking accommodated a full-size car, although the assigned spot is close to the wall. The apartment was spotless and modern. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Halifax, although I would have preferred a later check out time than 10 a.m.

My husband and 14 month old son stayed here for 4 days. The location was great! We walked everywhere and really appreciated being able to be a block away to restaurants, drug store, boutiques and also the Public Gardens. We also spent two days at the waterfront and walked there and back easily. Keep in mind when browsing this ad the photos posted are of multiple units. However, from what we saw it's still an accurate representation of what you are booking. Check in/out was a breeze! Parking is great! Place was super clean, wifi and TV worked great. The a/c unit was in the living room only which made us nervous (we all like it COLD) but the temperature of the whole unit ended up to be fine. Our only complaint was the bed. It was VERY worn and uncomfortable. It also felt more like a double than a queen. The mattress was such that we were both pitched into the middle because of the way it slanted from both sides. Quite disappointing since that's basically what we needed the place for. All in all this is a great rental for singles, couples and even those travelling with small kids (there was a walk in closet in our unit that was big enough for our Travel Crib so it was almost like having a 2 bedroom).

Everything you see in the add is exactly what you get! Great place to stay, very clean, great location central to everything in the city. Phil was great with communication even providing limo pickup details etc. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking into a holiday in Halifax as you are close to all amenities, historic sites, pubs, restaurants etc.

Great location! Walking distance to everything. View of greenspace. Shops and pubs just a block away. Street was a bit noisy with the windows open, but is probably normal for you city-slickers.
