Luxurious 2 king-sized bed flat, set over two floors with a huge newly renovated loft including bar and gym area. In Highgate, just 20 minutes from central London and near beautiful Hampstead Heath.
Our large flat is set over two floors in the well-connected Highgate area of North London. The loft has recently been refurbished to a high standard including a bar area, large dining space (seating up to 8-10) and a gym which includes free-weights and a rowing machine. We have a big internet TV with Sky channels and apple TV - and what we think might be the most comfortable sofa in the world...
We have two large bedrooms, both with king-sized beds and TVs. Each room has two wardrobes (pictured all in bedroom two) so has ample storage space.
The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher, smeg fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and most kitchen equipment you might need. We'll leave you some of the bare essentials (spices, tea) but Sainsbury's (a small supermarket) is a 1 minute walk away from the house so you can stock up without any trouble.
We have a separate bathroom containing a free-standing bath, and walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head. From the bath you can see out over the nearby woodland walk.
We are on the top two floors of a house conversion with great neighbours who we barely hear. This is a great place to both be close to the centre of London, and have access to the lovely local pubs and bars of Highgate village.
You'll have the run of the whole house, except a small bedroom where we'll store our things to make sure you can feel as at home as possible. The entrance to the flat block is accessed by a communal front door shared by our lovely neighbours and flat has it's own private front door, and you will have keys to come and go as you please.
We'll be contactable throughout your stay via phone or email, and where possible I'll come along to greet you when you arrive to make sure you settle in and I can answer any questions you have.
Highgate is great area of London for both people who'd like to be close to the action or are looking for a more relaxed experience of London life. We can recommend some great pubs and places to eat pretty much on the doorstep - and yet it's easy to venture further into the centre of town if you fancy a bit of hustle and bustle.
Highgate is close to the centre of town - just 20 mins on the tube to Tottenham Court Road (Northern Line), but also only a short walk to Hamsptead Heath with it's natural ponds and and great walks.
Other nearby places:
Highgate village: great for restaurants, local pubs and village-y shops to explore.
Finsbury Park: Arsenal football ground isn't far, and Finsbury park also has great restaurants and bars.
Camden: Just a couple of stops away on the tube and great for eclectic bars, gigs and markets.
No loud noise after 11pm
Josh and I live and work (most of the time) in London. I work for a charity in the centre of town, and Josh works in the TV industry so is often off travelling the world with his work (lucky guy).
We like to travel when we can, and enjoy eating out (I mean, who doesn't).
We're fairly relaxed types, but we love our flat and would love for our guests to look after it like we would. We don't mind you making the most of the loft and bar for fun - so long as we can't see the evidence on our sofa when you leave...
We're always available for questions (Lou will be managing the communication etc mostly) So just drop us a line if you have anything you'd like to know.
