The Old Dairy is a cosy , spacious self contained annex to our beautiful Georgian farmhouse. It is situated on our working farm in stunning, peaceful Herefordshire. It is conveniently situated just off the A49 at the end of our farm drive.
The Old Dairy comprises a small entrance hall with coat hanging space and shoe rack leading into the lounge with 2 seater sofa and arm chair. There is a table and 2 chairs under the window so that you can eat your breakfast and enjoy the view. The Old Dairy now has its own internet connection so enjoys reasonable download speed. There is a smart TV in the lounge so that guests can enjoy catch up TV etc. There is a king size bed in the bedroom which will split into 2 x 3' single beds if required. The bathroom has a walk in shower and the whole property has under floor heating which makes it very cosy! The fully equipped kitchen allows you to be completely self sufficient if you wish to cook for yourselves
There is an outside sitting area which catches the morning sun.
The washer and tumble drier are shared with ourselves and are situated in my utility room which is between the kitchen in the Old Dairy and my own kitchen
As we are a working farm there is normally someone around at all times. Guests are welcome to walk around the farm but please ask before entering the farmyard or buildings for your own safety. We are always very pleased to show people around and answer any questions that they may have.
Sadly pets are not allowed at this time.
Strictly no smoking in the house.
I have been married to a farmer for over 36 years, I love our way of life and I am very involved in the day to day running of the farm as well as being a self employed book keeper.
We have 3 grown up children and 5 grandchildren, 3 of whom live in NZ.
My interests are varied - gardening, sewing and riding & driving ponies. I very much enjoy travel, my favorite place being Florence, Italy.
We live in a beautiful house in a gorgeous location and I really enjoy sharing it with our guests. Our aim is that our guests should walk through the front door of the Old Dairy and feel immediately at home.
My life moto is that if you wake up in the morning it is a good start to your day!
