The house is situated on Donsö, which is a beautiful small island in Gothenburg archipelago. It is easily reached from central Gothenburg with nothing more than Gothenburg zone ticket. The island is free from cars and perfect for swimming and walking or bike rides on nature paths. There is a bridge to neighbour island Styrsö. The convenient store and also the boat, which brings you to mainland, is 5 minutes away. Nearest swimming area is 10 minutes away.
The accommodation is at ground floor with fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, bedrooms and bathroom. It has 4 beds and one baby cot. On demand more beds may be arranged. There is a little garden with lawn, outside furniture and barbeque. You also have access to a few bikes.

How to get here and around?
The boats to Donsö and the other southern island leave from Saltholmen wich is reached by tram, bus or car. You can park the car at Saltholmen or Långedrag, the latter is two tram stops away from the wharf. The parking at Saltholmen and Långedrag costs 25 SEK per night, The boats to the southern islands and Donsö is part of the public transportation of Gothenburg. One ticket costs 24 SEK (3 EUR) and you go by one ticket from Donsö to the center of town. It takes from 50 minutes to 1 1/2 hour, variations during day and week. The boats leave about once in hour, early mornings and late evenings. At fridays and saturdays there's also night boats. The distance from Saltholmen to center is about 10 km and by car it takes about 15 minutes if traffic is ok. What to do?
Donsö is a former fisher island. Today there’s about 1400 habitants who live there all year around. People live pretty close to each other and it’s a friendly atmosphere. There’s several nature areas, with woods and cliffs. There’s two public swimming areas. In the harbor you’ll find a bowling ally, a restaurant called Isbolaget, pizzeria and convenient store.
From Donsö there’s a bridge to Styrsö, where you can visit small beautiful harbors and a few restaurant and cafées. You can also go island hopping by boat to neighbor Islands. Vrångö is an island where there's a nice sand beach. Lots of people also like Brännö.
