We have three children together. Two are still at home. The House maintains structure and routine especially during the school term. The dog, Hope, is a sheepdog. She likes to race around chasing stuff: birds, shadows, flies, but not sheep. Two cats, Maple and Thyme, hold court on the property. We have chickens for eggs, and are raising our own beef.
- Meals that you require can be provided. Meals will be served in our main house kitchen and dining room. All we ask is that you please let us know in advance.
- Smokers must indulge outside and not in any of the rooms.
- Events or Parties by arrangement only, especially if there are other guests.
We live near the Hokianga Harbour. We try to live a low impact, green, self sufficient lifestyle. We have abundant bird-life, native bush, chickens, cows, a dog and 2 cats. We have built three separate accommodation units and have one room in the main house. We look forward to being part of your itinerary whilst travelling Aotearoa/New Zealand.
