Many of our guests in 2016-2017 stayed with us because they were going to weddings nearby. Some close wedding venues include: Willowbend Country Club, Popponesett inn, New Seabury Country Cub, Heritage Museum and Gardens, Highfield Hall, Coonamessett Farm, Bourne Farm, and Sea Crest Beach Hotel. If you have a wedding on Saturday night, consider coming to stay Friday night too. You won't be disappointed. Many guests say they wish they had! If you are worried about driving - hire Uber! We might be able to drop you off at the wedding if the timing is right for us too! We have a small tri-hull boat and frequently go out into Waquoit Bay. If you think you would like a boat ride; we can discuss. We will charge for this but can negotiate the fee with you. If you are not opposed to sharing the bathroom with 1-2 people, let us know and we can keep the second posting available for the blue room. If we get a second renter, we will give you $25 cash when you arrive. Otherwise, we completely understand you may want your private bath and privacy!
No shoes in the house please. Please lock the door if you are the last ones in for the night.
My husband Peter and I are newly retired, active, social, conservation minded people. We have owned our cape house for 25 years and we just love it and the area. We love to bike, hike, discover new places and of course - enjoy the beach. We also love music and have speakers in most rooms, including your bathroom and the magnificent outside shower.
