Cozy little mother-in-law apartment, newly updated, just two blocks off east main street. 2 Blocks from the war museum. Short walk or ride to all the shops, restaurants, and art galleries on main. Full kitchen with cooking utensils, beautiful new walk-in shower, large closet, off street parking and a cooking fire pit in front. Great art and furniture from local artist. Living area has just enough room to have a few friends or kids stay! QUIET Pet's allowed for $15 per night with owners approval.
The Casa is on the edge of the east end of Old Fredericksburg district. We are 2.5 Blocks from the Pacific War Museum and 1/2 a block from the re-enactment zone. We are 2 blocks from Otto's, tubby's and 3 blocks from the east main were the shops are located. The house was an old mother-in-law apartment that is attached my my main house. Vaulted wood ceilings and an open space greats you when you enter. The living and kitchen area are not oversized but not to small. Kitchen is set-up for cooking and dinning area for evenings in. The Sofa makes into a full/queen sized bed - It is not a pull out its a fold down. There is a door to separate the living and bedroom area with separate climate controls. The bedroom has an antique wood piece for the queen bed headboard. The sink is in the bedroom with the bathroom around the corner. The walk-in shower has a stone floor, plaster/concrete look walls and glass doors. Water is treated and makes for a great shower! There is a small private and fenced back yard 9x16 ish. Front yard is shared space but a private drive and entrance for quests. We can sometimes offer a special "set-up" if you are coming in for a special occasion and want flowers, champagne, or other items ready. Typical cost varies on need and item quality. Champagne set up (Non-French) - $25 ; French $70. Basic flower setup is $60. Other's will vary depending on what is wanted and time.
The Casa is all yours. There is a single shared (and insulated) wall to another AirBNB room but no access between. Washer and dryer are located in main house but with a separate side entrance. You have full access to the entire front yard and if you have a dog he/she is free to roam with supervision. The small back yard is all yours and not shared space - so use as you would like.
I live onsite with one other, Christian, who is a co-host. We are available to assist with whatever you need, just text, call, or knock on the bright orange door for your questions, just to chat or whatever! I travel frequently, but someone will always be available!
There is one other smaller guest room onsite. It does have a shared wall with Casa Tranquila. Please only bring pets if they are trained and most importantly quiet. Dog noises for some reason escape through the insulated walls! They must not be left alone if they are prone to whimper or barking. This is something that is enforced so please be honest and aware of your pets behavior.
Outside areas should be self policed and kept tidy with caution towards noise at night. Front gate should be shut at night during the months of March-October to assist in keeping wandering deer out of yard (they can jump the fence but these are lazy town deer!). Pets must be quiet as there are other occupants on the property.
Finally, The doors in the shower should not be slammed. Replacement cost plus cleaning will result in a charge of $400.

I love the outdoors, to read, good conversation, exploring and exercising - but also a good beer. Mountain biking is a passion of mine and travel!
