This freshly rehabbed unit is located on a beautiful tree-lined street in a location that can't be beat. The PERFECT distance from Wrigleyville and all its excitement; 10-minute walk, tops! ***The map location on Airbnb is further south than the actual building for some weird reason by about 3 blocks!!!
Street parking pass is available at no charge, but with this location, you shouldn't even need a car, as everything you need to experience Chicago is only a short walk or train ride away!

Two living room chairs as well as end seats on couch are recliners - very comfy! Bedroom has queen size real bed and sleeps 2 comfortably. Living room couch is NOT a pullout, but can sleep 1 comfortably.
This is a GARDEN unit apartment, which means it is basement level; very common in Chicago. As shown in the photos, it still gets plenty of natural light.
There is a small dog that belongs to the first floor tenants, so a possible encounter is not out of the question. No pets will be allowed in the garden unit itself.
Private entrance to unit located on side of building. Main front door and back door are for first and second floor tenant use only. Please be respectful of others in the building at all times. If entering/exiting at late hours of the night, please be quiet.
If possible, I will gladly greet you upon entering. If not, we will arrange for a key to be left in lockbox located on property and contact accordingly.

There is central AC and heat in the unit itself as well as cable DirecTV and WiFi.
If you are using parking passes, please be aware they need to be changed out every 24 hours. Passes cannot be altered and reused, as the bar code may have been scanned by the police. Parking during Cubs game days and nights can be rather difficult, but it's typically not a problem at other times. It may be helpful to check the Cubs schedule in preparation of your arrival so as to avoid arriving during game time or right before, if possible. Otherwise, you may have to park further away when you arrive and move your car once the game is over and the area clears out.
Please be aware that this is street parking in the city of Chicago. While the passes provided will ensure you don't get a ticket when used properly, if your car has any other issues, such as expired license plates, for example, the Chicago police may very well hit you up with a ticket for that; so make sure to check that everything is up to date beforehand. It's happened before, so better safe than sorry!
There are first and second floor tenants living in the building, so please be respectful at all times. I like to have fun too, but there are plenty of places to do so in the city; please refrain from partying in the unit, and please keep the noise down after 10:00 pm. Absolutely NO smoking allowed; the smell will travel through the vents and upstairs tenants will let me know (it's happened before). Zero tolerance for underage drinking or any illegal drug use on the property will be enforced. The laundry area shared with the first floor tenants is on a first come first serve basis.
