This 1910 charmer is a comfortable, clean, stylish and cozy home base for your Portland stay! Nestled perfectly off the ever popular Division Restaurant Row and a short walk to beautiful Mt Tabor Park...and much, much, more!
The house was my permanent residence for over 7 years! Now I am pleased to share the full property with travelers!
It's located in a quiet and nice SE South Tabor neighborhood. It has old bones but new upgrades throughout and is set against a beautiful garden backdrop.
I offer the following amenities for your comfort.
This is a typical 1900's floor plan with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
*Comfortable yet modern furnishing and decor make for a cozy space.
*Central heat and air are a rare find in Portland homes, but run very well here.
*Many large windows look out onto the expansive yard where you'll be able to spot native northwest plants and wildlife.
*One bedroom is in the rear of the house and has a private sliding door to the enclosed courtyard and has a newer pillow top queen bed with clean 100% cotton coordinating linens for a restful sleep.
*Second bedroom was my yoga space, that now has a newer pillow top queen size bed, also with clean 100% cotton coordinating linens for a restful "Zen" like sleeping space.
*I offer the additional option of a Deluxe pillow top raised blow up air mattress with a nice and very comfortable mattress topper usually set up in the upstairs space.
*Upstairs Attic Room/Den includes:
A room specific A/C unit and it's own heat w/ a space heater, floor fan and is also a t.v. room (with television, DVD player/ DVD's and local cable channels)
A desk that is suitable for a laptop station and has a printer
West Elm Modular sofa that I can set up as a single bed. It's really comfortable too!
**But this space is not for unoccupied young children
This is a nice, cozy and quiet separate room
* Large, deep, long sofa can be accommodated as an optional sleep spot
*Tiled bathroom features a tub and shower, bright light, spa towels, hairdryer, and complimentary bath products.
*Modern Full kitchen includes
Counter top Breville convection oven (toasting, roasting, pizza baking, broiling)
Dishes, glassware, and utensils, indoor/outdoor linens, outdoor glassware
The kitchen is also stocked with basic cooking essentials, locally roasted Stumptown ground coffee, and a selection of Steven Smith teas.
*Two dining spaces include - a dining table for seating up to 6 and a kitchen bar for 2.
*Laundry is available in the separate basement for an extra small fee ($15.00) and can be accommodated easily - upon pre-check in request
*The outdoor space is moderate as the house sits on a quiet corner. It has a nice side and front yard with a private back yard, with a grill and outdoor seating/dining (summer only).
*Front porch has an outdoor wood sofa w/weatherproof Sunbrella cushions
Nice to just walk around on a self guided garden tour with something to sip along the way...
