Built in the 80s this house has both modern and old world charm. Only five minutes by car on a direct route to the central city, we also have bikes - one with child seat. A lovely backyard and deck with native garden and a big bath to soak in.
Small but very functional spaces. Our kitchen and lounge are connected through the dining space. The two larger bedrooms and living area all have access to the garden. Our toilet is separate to the bathroom.
You will have full access to our home.
I will be available on my cell phone and email.
We have a female cat so we ask that the cat be fed while you stay with us as we will not be there. She is very low maintenance - and does like a cuddle. She is used to children so that is not an issue. She only requires feeding once a day.
Please respect that this is our family home. It endures lots of wear and tear but we like to take care of it.
I am a happily married mother of two young children. I am a dancer and choreographer and run a small arts organisation here in Christchurch. My husband is a film maker. We are passionate about the arts but being New Zealanders, we also love the outdoors, long walks in the bush, skiing and being in the water. We have both lived in Amsterdam and our favourite destinations to visit have been Berlin, New York, Paris and Venice. Classics but we don't like to feel like tourists. We want to get the inside word, the underground experience. We don't like to observe from the outside.
