Owned by an Interior Design Architect, light and spacious apartment in the heart of Venice, in Sestiere San Marco. It is welcoming and elegantly furnished, with the original typical wooden beams ceilings and Venetian floors.
The apartment is on the second floor of a pre-nineteenth century Venetian palace. It has an entrance hall with a characteristic mullioned window from which enters marvelous light, a big double bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with a double sofa-bed.
Located in a very central area, in Salizada de la Chiesa or del Teatro, in Sestiere San Marco. It is two steps away from Calle de la Mandola, which connects the Accademia Bridge to Campo San Luca, the Rialto Bridge and San Mark's Square. It is also very close to the Teatro La Fenice.
The fully renovated apartment retains the original, typical wooden beams ceilings and Venetian floors. The bathroom has a shower and it is well-finished with fine Venetian mosaic tiles with golden decorations.
The apartment is light and welcoming, with its wide rooms and stylish furniture - it's owner is an interior designer. It is situated in the heart of Venice, in Sestiere San Marco, a very quiet area, and yet full of bars, restaurants and night life.
From the mullioned window you have access to a small balcony from which it's possible to see the new Cinema Rossini and the stunning Church of San Benedetto. In the “Campo” (square) of the same name is located the famous Palazzo Fortuny, well known venue for exhibitions and other events.
The multiplex Rossini was closed for many years but has recently been re-launched after a long and difficult restoration. Now on its ground floor there is a grocery store and a very nice bar-restaurant. In the eighteenth-century it housed the San Beneto Theatre, the most ancient theatre in Venice.
