Our 5700 square foot log home is your dream vacation every season of the year. With skiing, snowboarding, hiking and mtn biking nearby, and panoramic views of Pineview Reservoir and the mountains, you'll enjoy time spent inside as well as outside.
Highlights of our home include a spacious great room, vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace, two large flatscreen HDTVs (one in the master BR and one in the living room on the first floor), open/spacious kitchen with high-end appliances & large granite counter top island, two separate dining areas, an office and an outdoor hot tub.
The open floor plan affords friends and families ample space to relax and unwind without feeling crowded.
With the exception of 2 owner closets: located in master bedroom and bedroom #2, the entire house is accessible to our guests.
If any issues arise during your stay, both my husband and I are available to assist any way we can, via phone or text. We also have a wonderful property manager who can assist with anything needing on-site attention.
The area is an oasis for year-round recreation for the outdoor enthusiast.
In Winter, Snowbasin, Powder Mountain and Nordic Valley are all within close proximity of our home. Snowbasin is a 10 minute drive, Powder Mountain is approx 25 minutes and Nordic Valley, 15 minutes. All areas offer snowboarding and skiing; Nordic and Powder offer night riding/skiing as well. The Cache National Forest trailhead is minutes from our home, for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking.
In Summer, fly-fishing, boating, swimming, hiking and mountain biking are all accessible either from our front door, or just a short drive away. For water enthusiasts, our home overlooks and is walking distance to Pineview Reservoir; directly across the street from our house you have access to the park and beach, along with a boat launch. The reservoir is great for fishing, swimming, wake surfing, and wake boarding. Club Rec offers boat and vessel rentals for your convenience.
If you enjoy golfing, Wolf Creek Golf Course is just a short 15 minute drive on the other side of the lake.
As for dining, Carlos & Harley's Mexican Cantina is located on the other side of the lake, in Eden. The closest town with more restaurant options, movie theaters and shopping is Ogden, drive time is approximately 25 minutes through the canyon road. Valley Market, the local grocer, is also across the lake, in the town of Eden.
The quaint town of Huntsville boasts the oldest saloon in Utah: The Shooting Star Saloon, and is well worth a visit.
All we ask is that you enjoy your stay and treat our home as if it was your own.
My husband and I grew up on the east coast and having moved to Southern California, we longed for snow. Several friends recommended UT, more specifically, Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. We bought our home 9 years ago and have found both our home and the area to be magical. Should you choose to spend your vacation in our home, we hope you agree.
