Our cozy Hood River Studio is in walking distance to downtown and close to all outdoor activities! Come enjoy a weekend exploring the local breweries, brewpubs, wineries, and orchards. We'd love to share with you some of our favorite local spots.
After you've spent the day snowboarding, skiing, hiking, kiting, wind surfing, or SUP-ing, come back and relax in the quiet Studio. You’ll love the comfy bed. Our Studio is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Our house is a skinny house - very recognizable and unique. But we don't let the narrowness bother us! The house has great charm and the yard / garden is amazing (especially in the Spring and Summer months)!
The space is great for a single traveler or for two people. The king bed is super comfortable.
The Studio is on the ground floor / basement level of the home and has many windows to let light in, while also offering full privacy when you need it.
Guests have access to the entire private studio downstairs on the ground / basement level of the home. Additionally, there is covered space downstairs to store sports equipment during your stay. During the warmer months when the rain has calmed down, feel free to sit in the Adirondack chairs in the garden.
We're usually at work during the week and typically have plans on the weekends. But we'd love to say hi when we see you around!
-Please let us know if there are any concerns with accessibility and we will be happy to help answer questions
-Due to the location of the property, there are steps to the entrance. Fortunately there are ways to avoid the steps, we'll be happy to help!
- Our Studio is located in a neighborhood and there are people living above the Studio. Please be respectful and keep noise to a minimum from 10pm-7am.
- Since there are people living above the Studio, you will hear footsteps or other noises at times.
- Smoking is allowed in outside areas only
- For Summer: the Studio does not have Air Conditioning. It remains naturally cool due to the location and there are many windows to open for the cool fresh air. We also have fans available in the Studio if needed. It hasn't been a problem during 100 degree heat, but we want to make sure it's clear.
My husband and I have been in Hood River for over 2 years and we love the area! We landed here after taking a sabbatical from our jobs in California and traveling the US and the World for a year. Aside from traveling, we love wine, hiking, and cooking.
I'm also a competitive Masters swimmer, I love running, and yoga.
Our style of traveling is to just experience living in a new location, rather than exhausting every single monument and museum. We may pick one new thing to do each day and plan our day around that.
My current life motto is a quote I borrowed from a yoga teacher and good friend: "There is no path to happiness. Happiness is the path. Be well and follow the path."
