Most of the time it is silent here. The private airfield nearby is used by prior appointment only. During peak periods in summer around six flights of small light aircraft may occur per day with only the noise of a passing motorcycle. The airfield is grass so is generally closed in winter to fixed-wing aircraft. The airfield is not certified for night operation.
No smoking inside the property please - stainless steel buckets on the deck outside are provided for outside smokers. Please keep the noise down after 11pm please - even though it looks completely remote, sound travels and we do want to be good neighbours. Please leave the lodge as you found it - many thanks.
We have been holidaying on Waiheke with our children for many years and just kept coming back - we love the place. When the opportunity came up to own this beautiful Lodge, we jumped at the chance and now can offer this very comfortable accommodation for you to enjoy.
We will be here to welcome you when you arrive and not too far away if you need help - just call or send a text and we can come by.
Look forward to seeing you
Trevor and Alice
