Our newly remodeled home is a classic 1920's Tudor style with 2 floors of living space and a beautiful backyard. It is not a full-time rental, but instead our usual year-round home. We take great pride in the quality of our kitchen and amenities, baths and fixtures, etc. You'll truly feel as if you are 'borrowing' a good friend's home for your visit and not staying in a sterile, poorly-furnished rental house.

- Master bedroom upstairs with king bed and skylights
- 2nd upstairs children’s bedroom with twin bed
- Shared upstairs bathroom with double showers
- Guest bedroom with king bed on main floor
- Guest bedroom with queen bed on main floor
- Full bathroom in connected hallway on main floor
- Queen sleeper sofa in living room
Our main floor has a new open layout with gorgeous stacking kitchen doors to the private backyard deck. Plenty of family games, books, and toys are available for kids ages 3-12.
(Note: This home does not have AC but fans will be available as they are occasionally needed during the hottest few days of the year here in the mild Pacific Northwest.)
Our home is in a quiet, classic residential Seattle neighborhood with easy walking access to nearby coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and the infamous Greenlake park/lake. Just around the corner you will find Elysian Brewpub, Mighty-O Donuts, Kisaku, The Burgundian, and Zoka Coffeehouse. In addition, our backyard has a large deck, several patios with charcoal grill and fire pit, and children’s play structure with swings and slide.
Access to main floor, upstairs, unfinished basement (laundry), back dining deck + table/chairs and grill, and spacious back yard for play. Garage will be locked and unavailable to guests. Ample street parking available.
While we will be traveling, we do not anticipate needing to directly interact with our guests at all. Should an issue or problem arise, we utilize a property manager who is a friend of the family. She typically ensures a smooth change-over from one guest family to the next and is available by phone to address any issues within several hours if necessary. You might also see her from time to time watering the garden and grass so that it all stays green for you!
We are a dog and cat family - if you have allergies this is probably not the home for you. While our dog will be away for the summer and our home is VERY clean, our two cats will be cared for across the street. Please do not rent our home if you dislike cats or are allergic to cats as they will likely stop by for visits and rubs.
