Le Domaine Blue Park – Antibes French Riviera
A unique place in France, and in particular in the French Riviera : spend a wonderful upscale week-end or week-long vacations in one of the most recent property of the French Côte d’Azur.
Your rental spans over 200 sqm over a sunny garden, a fully A/C 1-bdrm flat (fits 4 adults) 45 sqm, an equipped patio 16 sqm leading to a garden that overlooks a 27-acre forest. The Domaine Blue Park also boasts a 20m pool. It sit in the heart of Antibes with a direct access to the whole French Riviera region : beaches, supermarkets, provence markets, airport, railway stations, Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Italie, Ski resorts etc.
Unique by its location and its view: at the same time, close to the city centre (a few minutes’ drive) and the beaches (closests are 4-5 mn drive).
99% of the flats you rent in the French Riviera have views over other buildings – the region is quite densely populated. Whereas here, as you can see from the pictures, the view is incredibly nice and peaceful. At some time of the year (autumn-winter), you can see a bit of the sea.
Le Domaine Blue Park being brand new, the current garden is in its natural setting. A landscaped garden will be conceived in the coming months. A private jacuzzi (on top of the 20m pool) might even be built by then in the backyard.
Le Domaine Blue Park was conceived by famous architect Ricardo Spani, who built some of the most famous estates in the French Riviera. Le Domaine is modelled after a Greek village – think low-rise buildings, white walls and Greek blue doors. Mediterranean trees and essences are spread all over the 10 acre-domaine.
The 20-m pool is new and built by Diffazur, which is one the world’s leading pool company, known for it high-quality pool projects.
Wifi is the latest available and offers a very powerful signal so you can use it anywhere in the house and patio / Garden.
Leading to the patio and garden through a double-glass door, room features an ultra comfy 5000€-bed (TRECA Black label), in which you’ll love sleeping.
Pillows are also 100% feather goose, and the bed sheet are carefully selected among Calvin Klein Home or luxury Frette collections. They are exclusively reserved for my guests. In the living room (sofa bed), a mattress overlay is provided, and the bed sheet are also carefully selected.
A bottle of water is provided by the bed side.
A small library (arts, travels, architecture books) is at your disposal. The selection will be growing on a regular basis.
A Bluetooth speaker is available in the bedroom and can be taken in the other places of the flat.
Ample dedicated space is provided for your clothes and even 1 luggage can be hidden.
The living room offers a 3-seat brand new sofa bed, which converts into a double bed in a few seconds and without moving the sofa.
A triple-window door opens up onto the patio and garden, offering an unobstructed view on the surrounding greenery.
TV is one of the latest Philips Ultra High definition “4K” 48” screen. Thanks to Chromecast, you can broadcast Youtube videos (inlc. 4K). Use the screen with 4K images of an aquarium or a wood fire ;-)
The sofa bed in the living room comes with a mattress overlay to make your nights even better. Feather goose pillows, superb duvet, etc the comfort for the living room beddings has not been neglected should you decide to stay 4 adults or 2 adults + 2 children.
The Bang & Olufsen stereo is also great for listening to your favourite CD’s. Bring some of them, and (re)-discover music like never before ;-)
The table can host up to 10 guests when extended. There is a second tack wood table outside.
The kitchen is brand new and has a modern look. From dishwasher to fridge, cutlery, dishes, etc., it all comes from major brands (Scholtès, Electrolux, Bosch, fine bone china from Rosenthal brand, etc.)
All instructions will be provided with pictures, so you don’t have to spend your time understanding how machines work ;-)
We will leave ample space in the fridge: 2 out of 4 spaces are emptied for you to use.
Patio is another great part of the flat. Located between the living room / bedroom area, it opens into the garden. At the same time protected and open, it’s an ideal place to unwind and relax, write emails, read a book, drink some wine …
Japanese paper lamp, individual hand towels, wooden bench, large heater for your towels, big shower, hair dryer, it’s all in here for your comfort.
Olivier DESFORGES is a major brand of upscale towels (450 gr/m2). They will be provided to your party.
SECURITY – PARKING – ACCESS:
SECURITY / PARKING: You can park your car in a secured parking, accessible with a code. It is only a few meters walk from the apartment so quite convenient when holding your shopping / grocery bags.
ACCESS: one of the main points of staying at Le Domaine Blue Park is it easy access to everything! Based on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps info:
-To start the day, the “best Boulangerie” (bakery) of Antibes sits 700 meters / 0.4 mile from the flat
-Antibes railway station: 8 minutes (Uber around 7 euros)
-Juan-Les-Pins railway station: 8 minutes (Uber around 7 euros)
-Nice Airport: 14 minutes (Uber environ 35 euros)
-Juan-Les-Pins beaches: closest is 4 minutes (20-25 minutes walk)
-Supermarkets: several options within a 4 minute-drive radius. 8 minute-drive will take you to one of France’s biggest supermarket.
-Marineland: 11 minutes
-Cannes: 14 minutes
-Nice: 20 minutes
-Malls: besides Antibes and Cannes, the 2 biggest malls with hundreds of stores, restaurants etc of the region are both located nearby: Polygone RIviera (brand new mall): 16 minutes / Cap 3000 : 16 minutes
-Monaco: 39 minutes
-Provence villages: Saint Paul de Vence : 23 minutes / Contes : 41 minutes
-Italy: Vintimille (famous market) : 52 minutes / San Remo : 68 minutes
-Ski resort: Valberg : 90 minutes / Isola (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)
-Mercantour Park / trekking in the Alps : Utelle : 57 minutes, Saint Martin Vésubie 1hr10
-Gorges du Verdon: 65 minutes (entrée du parc) to 1hr30 (Castellane)
-Tennis: Tennis Club La Roseraie : 4 minutes / City Tennis Club : 7 minutes.
-Golf: closest (Biot) is 7 minutes away, and within a 10-mn around the flat you have many more courses.
-Fitness / Gym / Cross training : 4 minutes
-Martial Arts : one of France’s most famous school is located 5 minutes
Guests coming without a car can also visit all places, an Uber drive costs around 7 euros to the railway and bus station – buses and trains take you to major cities around.
Antibes is an easy access from all over Europe – from high-speed train to several flights. Nice Airport is France’s second after Paris.
We truly hope you will enjoy staying at our new place. There aren’t many comments yet as we are just starting to rent if as of early April 2016, but you can read the 20-ish comments from my former flat which was located a few minutes away.
Last but not least … One recommendation I’d like to share to help choose wisely the right rental in the French Riviera : check the “PECS”:
P for Pool: make sure the pool is not shared with hundreds of people (which is mostly the case). A 20m-pool is usual for 200 flats, whereas at Le Domaine Blue Park the 20m-pool is used by only around 50 flats.
E for environment: the French Riviera being densely populated, most views are views over other buildings –not always nice. Make sure you get the right view.
C for air Con; it can get pretty hot at times in the region, and A/C will ensure you get a proper night’s sleep.
S for Security: as in any touristy area, make sure you get the proper security for you and your car.
