Beautiful backhouse, located on a quiet street just three blocks from the zany Venice Boardwalk and ocean, and one block from the famed Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Enjoy the best shopping, food, coffee, and drinks that LA has to offer.
This home is awesome! I love living here, and think you will like staying here. (I only rent when I am on vacation, but I provide easy access and many friends and neighbors to help with any questions). The home has an unbeatable location, and yet somehow quiet — the nightlife on Abbot Kinney doesn't spill over to our neighborhood streets. You could cab here from LAX for $20 and not need to rent a car. The ocean and surfing are within walking distance; shopping, food, coffee, and nightlife on Abbot Kinney are one block away.
Apartment comes with full kitchen, queen bed, large bathroom, great sound system, library, and a washing machine if you want to use. In the patio, I have bikes, surf boards, and boogie boards you can feel free to use if you take good care of them.
I am looking for a solo traveler or couple to enjoy my home for at least a week while I am traveling myself. I will consider less time if you're the best applicant! I'm not a professional renting agency, I'm just looking to share my home while I travel. I have had many positive experiences on AirBNB and want to begin hosting when I can.
The apartment is very comfortable, with air conditioning when it gets hot in Venice. Super cool and friendly neighbors will help if anything goes wrong. Plenty of cooking gear, Apple TV to enjoy, books to read.
I'm looking for non-smokers, or people willing to avoid smoking inside. The neighborhood is quiet, and I am friends with all my neighbors, so late night & loud parties are not able to occur at my apartment.
If you are looking for a relaxing, super comfortable, fun, and local Venice experience — look no further! You cannot go wrong with this location. I hope to never move.
Message me with any questions.

I'm an easy going traveler and have had many positive experiences so far on AirBNB. I really enjoy meeting other people & interacting with different cultures -- whether that be across the Atlantic, or across the street in my neighborhood. I hope to host at my apartment someday, but for now I am usually the traveler looking for a place to stay. If anyone has tips for welcoming AirBNB guests remotely, I'd always be interested to hear.
I am clean, organized & take good care of apartments, houses, etc. I think respecting another person means respecting their place. I'm outgoing & love to be social, but also happy to keep quiet & keep the place where I stay quiet as a retreat. Basically, I'm really flexible when I travel. I'm just happy I no longer have to exist in the days of boring hotels & uninteresting traveling. Between AirBNB & Couchsurfing, my worldview has been opened in many different cities. Let's keep it going!
