The minimum price is for 1-2 guests in the main room and the additional cost taking you to the maximum is for a third or fourth guest in the second room, sleeping on the new, comfy sleeper couch which opens into a king-size bed. Safe area but you have your own alarm, security doors and entrance. All of high quality for your comfort and pleasure. Away from traffic and busy roads – nature’s sounds abound around you.
“The house is magnificent. It is literally right on the water on a secluded canal in Marina de Gama. Swim in the pool right next to the water, or take a canoe and explore the many islands. The area is famous for its magnificent bird life and you are literally minutes away from the world famous swimming beaches. Although it's very quiet, it's a stone’s through away from some of the best restaurants in Cape Town. The house is very large, so guests have an entire private wing all to themselves. It doesn't get much better than this! I highly recommend staying here.”

“Thank you for a perfect stay in the most tranquil and pleasant of areas in the Cape - where one can relax not only at the poolside but also while boating on the pedalo, visiting quiet waterways and walking on secluded islands with plentiful bird life and good fishing in the area as well!! If one wants to undertake some more strenuous exercise then one can go for a pleasant canoe ride. To take a walk or bicycle ride in quiet and scenic streets is most pleasant. With one of the best swimming and surfing beaches within a short distance is a great plus. The standard of accommodation is very high and could rival any 5 star hotel with good security at home as well as in the area.
Dennis and Eileen – Hout Bay, South Africa
“Just a short note to say how wonderful it was for Shirley and I to stay in the suite at your home at Marina da Gama. The suite was so private and most accommodating. Not only was the bedroom comfortable but we also enjoyed your additional facilities. We shall always make a point of staying at Marina da Gama when we visit the Cape. Thank you also for the warm welcome and the many other kindnesses.”

“I stayed here in November 2015 and my experience was entirely positive. The house is very welcoming, with a lovely open veranda for eating and relaxing, overlooking the swimming pool, and beautifully peaceful and tropical island - the marina alive with ducks, coots, cormorants just to mention but a few. One can either canoe or peddle boat on the marina and explore the numerous inlets and waterways, or even fish if you would like. The location is ideal, 5 mins from Muizenberg beach and all the beachside cafes and bars, 2 mins from motor way providing access into the city centre and surrounding areas and also 2 min away from the main road heading towards Kalk Bay, Simons Town, Cape Point, etc. For a relaxing stay away in a peaceful homely neighbourhood in Cape Town this is totally ideal.”
Jennifer – Stellenbosch
“This accommodation wing has a wonderful position, and is a great place to unwind in. The marina brings nature into your living room, yet it has all home comforts and mod cons. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting a place to stay which is away from the noise and bustle of Cape Town, but close enough to Muizenberg to enjoy the cafes and beaches. I would happily use this venue again as my base in Cape Town.”
Gill Simpson – Riversdale, South Africa
“As a single female I felt safe and secure, sleeping with patio door open protected by trellis door. Vistas of a pool right outside your bedroom, contrasting with the hues of the marina`s estuary. Watch yellow billed ducks and moorhen protecting their breeding territories. A pedalo and kayak awaits
you for exploring the birdlife. Within walking distance of restaurants. Don`t be tempted to feed the ducks, unless you want to end up swimming with them in the pool!”

“The accommodation consists of comfortable, large rooms with full bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. It is in a safe and secure environment, overlooking the splendid waterways of Marina da Gama. In contrast to the tranquil Marina, you are also close to vibey Muizenburg.”
Kim – Camps Bay
