This old school building was converted into a Cafe and a 4**** Hostel. Our bunk beds are hand made from solid wood, equipped with a plug socket, reading light, a little shelf and a curtain for some privacy.
North Wales has just been listed as one of the best regions to visit in the world by Lonely Planet. Countless adventures start right at our door!
The old school was built around 1869 and has been converted by us into a Cafe and a tourist accommodation. The main hall is our Cafe area and the old class rooms have been converted into a bedroom and bathroom.
A £10 deposit for a key fob is payable at check in and will be redeemed at check out. We do not have a curfew but ask everyone to respect our neighbours.
The cafe is open 9-5 every day and staff will be on site throughout the day. While no visitors to the Cafe will have access to the bedroom, please be aware, that other guests will be on the premises.
There are no self-catering facilities at Lodge Dinorwig. Breakfast is included in the price and if you would like to book dinner, please get in touch.
Check in is between 3pm and 6pm. We will ask for an estimated time of arrival when you book, if you are delayed and likely to arrive outside these times please let us know.
A £10 deposit will be charged for key fob and padlock and will be redeemed upon return of both at check out.
Check out is 11 am on the morning of departure and all bedrooms must be cleared of both guests and any possessions by that time.
Please note, there are NO self-catering facilities at Lodge Dinorwig.
All bed linen is provided and beds are made up for you prior to your arrival. Please bring your own towel.
