UNIT ACCESS There is a lockbox on the door of the unit with your key inside. There will be another set of keys inside along with other information you may need. Please return the key to the lockbox on your door at your departure, please don’t forget to spin the code if applicable.

CLEANING Each property will be inspected and professionally cleaned after your departure. The cleaning fee you have paid will provide for a complete normal cleaning of the property. You are required to leave the property in the same general condition that you found it by making sure the home is generally picked up and ready to be vacuumed and cleaned. If excessive departure cleaning is necessary, an appropriate charge will be
deducted from your security deposit at the rate of $35/hour.

QUIET HOURS For the entire property are from 10:00PM until 8:00AM. At all times, please be considerate of others when adjusting the volume on TVs, Music etc.

POOL, JACUZZI Pool hours are 9:00AM – 9PM. For your safety and enjoyment, we ask that you observe the following rules as being strictly enforced:
-CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE JACUZZI
-No running or jumping in the pool
-Ball playing/paddle ball is not permitted in the pool
-Please use plastic containers for beverages-NO BOTTLES OR GLASS
-Please remove suntan oil and sand at the outdoor shower prior to using the
pool or Jacuzzi
-Babies MUST wear diapers that are specifically made for the pool

FOOD PLEASE DO NOT leave garbage, open food or dirty dishes inside or outside of your unit, as this will quickly attract insects.

SMOKING This building is non-smoking, this includes the lanai. Areas that are set up for smoking are located on the East end of the property by the barbeques and on the West end of the property by the carwash stations. Please properly dispose of all smoking materials and do not discard on the grounds.

ROOM SUPPLIES Each unit is provided with an initial supply of dishwasher, laundry soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Once the initial amount is used, guests are responsible for purchasing their own supplies. No food provisions are supplied.

INTERNET AND BASIC CABLE Each of our units offers free Wi-Fi and basic cable. The network name for the Wi-Fi is COASTAL followed by your unit number all in small case. The password is wirele22. If you are having trouble accessing the Internet please do not attempt to change the Internet settings. Call Oceanic time warner cable @ and they can walk you through any problems.

GARBAGE CHUTES Are across from the unit numbers X09 and X10 on the upper floors. The first floor garbage room is located to the left of the front entrance. The Ma’alaea Banyans promotes recycling efforts on Maui and has bins for recycling glass, plastics and aluminum in the first floor garbage room. The doors to the chutes and garbage room are locked from 9:00PM to 8:00AM

LANAI RAILINGS Please do not hang any items from your railings

SEPTIC SYSTEM IMPORTANT PLEASE
-DON’T FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER DOWN THE TOILETS. EVEN IF IT SAYS IT’S FLUSHABLE.
- IF ITS NOT TOILET PAPER DON’T FLUSH IT.
-IN THE EVENT OF A CLOG YOU WILL BE BILLED IF THE PLUMBER FINDS IT TO BE YOUR FAULT

SURFBOARDS/PADDLEBOARDS/WINDSURFERS Should be stored on the roof rack of your car or inside your unit. They cannot be kept on the lanais or in the hallways.

BARBEQUE GRILLS are located East of the pool area. The grills are equipped with gas. No charcoal is permitted. Please brush off the grill and clean up the area when you are finished. Be sure to shut off both gas control knobs. No other common areas may be used for cooking. It is against the Hawaii State Fire Code to barbeque on the lanais or within 15 feet of the building.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: DO NOT DEPART FOR HAWAII WITHOUT TAKING ALONG YOUR PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS OR SAVED IN YOUR EMAIL/PHONE. Phones run out of power, its best to have it printed.

Check-in time is 4PM (HST). Check-out time is 11AM. A late check-out option is available at an additional charge of 50% of the daily rate + tax. (Based on availability) Upon departure please insure that all doors and windows are locked, A/C AND lights are off. Return the key to the lockbox. There will be a $75.00 for each lost key.

Kristines place was situated perfectly for us. Centrally located between Lahaina, our wedding location and the Road to Hana and perfectly located for the marina. The condo itself though had a very dusty floor so we had to walk around in our flip flops or socks, the showers were smaller than expected and towels had stains on them.

The location was easy to find and conveniently located between Lahaina and Wailuku. The unit has air conditioning and overhead fans. Great view. The pool was also nice.

We just returned from 10 days at this condo. We are a family of 6 with children from 7-12. We LOVED the central location on the island. It was perfectly located for all our day trips and within walking distance to an ice cream shop. We also enjoyed the huge selection of DVD's in the condo and the wonderful views of the water and mountains. The kitchen had most everything we could want including olive oil and spices. The king sized beds were very comfortable, in fact my daughter said they made her want to go to bed at night! Things to note if you are considering this place - the condo is very compact and no extra space anyplace. The condo complex is mostly retired adults who have a low tolerance for children and their activity. Noise travels very easily between units due to how they are constructed. They are very strict about kids in the hot tub and jumping into the pool. We were gone most days, but if we had wanted a place to hang out at this wouldn’t have been ideal. Also while we loved the location on the island, it also is very windy due to the location between the mountains. The condo comes with a big cooler which we used every day and beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, snorkel gear) although the chairs could be replaced, as they are at the end of their life. All in all, we had a great time!

Centrally located on the island, which was great for exploring. Not exactly beachfront, a 5 min walk to the closest beach.

This would be a great spot for a couple who are planning lots of fishing trips, snorkel trips or a week at the aquarium. We were five adults and a toddler and it was a bit squishy for us.

The apartment is small but well maintained and nicely updated - two comfortable beds and one divan, modern well-equipped kitchen, small but elegant bathrooms, and plenty of beach stuff. From the deck there is a great ocean view across to South Maui and Haleakala. Sound of the surf is great! Wifi and TV all worked very well. Kristine was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The bedroom layout is quite unique and worth thinking about if you are not a single family. There is one master bedroom, and one small windowless bedroom directly above it (with an adjoining grill between the two rooms to allow in air/light, so not much privacy). There is a third larger loft-like sleeping space that opens directly on to the kitchen/living space below. Location isn’t great, a small development in a very windy part of the island (there is a row of wind turbines on the ridge behind the harbor). It’s also on the final approach for the airport, so isn’t a tranquil spot. The complex itself is quiet and well kept. It feels more residential than tourist, and good if you are avoiding boisterous families. No Marco Polo in the small pool and a very hot jacuzzi. BBQs were well maintained and seemed easily available. The harbor itself is very close and has a good selection of shops and restaurants in the adjacent mall. The location is convenient for activities elsewhere on the island - 15 minutes to the airport, 30 minutes to either Lahaina or Makena, and 90 minutes to the top of Haleakala. There is direct access to a small rocky beach from the resort where we saw turtles pretty much every day. Access to a much longer sandy beach is a short walk along the road to Haycraft Park.

We had a wonderful stay at Kristines Condo, it has the most amazing view, and quiet but very easy to get local bus around. It was a great relax after traveling for 4 weeks. Kristine was easy to contact and very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely return.
