This cozy unit is the perfect spot for anyone visiting Denver. It is located in a great neighborhood that is centrally located and has amazing bars and restaurants all within walking distance. This is the perfect unit for a family or friends. Close to downtown and all the sporting fields for a weekend of fun.
This is a very large separate apartment has a private entrance and has been completely renovated and is the heart of Highlands for all the shopping and restaurants just steps away while still being in a quite neighborhood. It is a modern 2 bedroom garden apartment that comfortably sleeps 4.
There is a large master bedroom with a king size bed, along with a dresser and closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and closet. The bathroom has been remodeled and just competed is the the glass tile shower with stone floor. The kitchen is fully stocked to make everything you could want for a thanksgiving feast and is open to the living room so everyone is together. There is even a small office to get some work done before you go out and play. We have a washer/dryer and a shared back area outside where there is a shared gas grill and a relaxing gas fire pit with lounger chairs and patio table.
We live in the upstairs portion of the home; with that being said, you can sometimes hear some creaks due to the hardwood floors.
As I mentioned you will be in the heart of Highlands where some of the best restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops in Denver are located. There is also Tennyson street which has great bars, restaurants and shopping. There are also 3 lakes in the area close enough to walk to. Let's just say you won't be bored in this area. We also have easy access to Downtown, LODO, Coors Field, Mile High Stadium, Cherry Creek and to the mountains. There are even bikes down the street you can rent for your stay to get around even easier.
There is plenty of street parking out front of the house that does not require any permit.
There is no smoking inside of the unit.
We can be as interactive with you as you would like. We are here to make your stay as comfortable and as fun as we can. We may or may not be in town during your stay.
The best part of the neighborhood is how you don't need a car. Everything you could want is within walking distance.
It is very easy to get around in this area. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, shopping and 24 hr fitness. There are bus line very close to get you anywhere and a taxi ride to downtown is only $10. We are also very close to I-25, I-70, Hwy 36 to Boulder and 6th ave. These are the main drives to get anywhere in the city.
The guests have access to the back area which is shared with us. The front porch is reserved for the home owner.
We love to meet the guests and hear more about the adventures they have done and suggest new ones.
We have a dog named Shy. She is a 4 year old sweetheart who loves to be outside. Please make sure to close the gate when you leave so she can't go wandering off. :)

Please keep in mind that we live upstairs and we try to keep the noise level down. We ask you offer the same respect. This is a great neighborhood and please respect the neighbors and the area. There is no smoking of any kind inside of the unit and we ask you to smoke outside at all times.
I love Colorado and everything it has to offer. My girlfriend (Rachel) and I have been together for 5 years and enjoy the outdoors very much. I love to mountain bike and ski and Rachel is an ultra runner. I have owned the house since 1997 and have remodeled the entire house and love to projects to make the place even better.
We love to travel, and try to get away for long weekends when we don't have time for for the "big" vacations. Sometimes there's just too much fun right here in Denver with friends!
We are new to Airbnb, but have always had renters downstairs. We thought this would be a great way to meet new people and still have the flexibility for extra room when family and friends are in town.
