ADVICE - I’ve lived in Osaka for many years and can tell you where to go, what to see and importantly in food-lovers Osaka - what to taste!
I live very close by, so either myself, my partner or my lovely assistant are available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
If you look at airbnb reviews, you’ll start to see which listings are run by faceless large-scale businesses and which ones are run by hosts who truly make you feel welcome with the best local advice for the side of Osaka tourists can’t usually find. We’ve got hand-made guides plus tons of recommendations for things to see, do and eat, so please don’t hesitate to ask. Enjoy our introductions to semi-secret local spots and get a taste of Osaka’s best! :)
The listed price is for 1 to 2 people - an extra guest adds 1,500 yen, per night. The apartment can sleep up to 4 people - there’s one double bed and double sofa-bed, both 140cm wide. A cleaning fee of 5,000 yen applies for your stay - the longer you stay the less that works out to be per night.
This is a Japanese apartment so please leave your shoes by the door. Sorry pets, only human-animals allowed. There's strictly no smoking in the apartment! Smoking on the balcony is perfectly fine, but PLEASE KEEP THE DOOR CLOSED THE WHOLE TIME!! If the apartment smells even a little like smoke you lose your deposit!
And finally, the apartment is yours to relax and enjoy but please be very considerate of the neighbors, especially when you're outside. It's considered very rude in Japanese society to make noise that disturbs the other residents, and noise complaints or bothering neighbors with questions may incur a penalty of up to 10,000 yen. Thanks in advance.
Other than that, let our apartment be your apartment, make yourselves at home! Although we'd certainly appreciate it if you keep the place relatively clean. ;)
Hi!! I'm Mion. I'm originally from Kochi (an island a bit south) but now I've lived in Hyogo and Osaka for 15 years. I'm a professional performer - mainly a dancer, and sometimes a singer. At the moment I work at Universal Studio Japan.
I love to go to cafes or nice restaurants in the city, and I also like to go out for nights dancing and having fun! Osaka has a tons of nice places you simply have to check out - so many that I'm always finding new favorites!
I love to dance, sing, read books, exercise, and cook. Not all the time, every once in a while. But my business partner Rodney knows I'm quite a good chef. ;)
And sometimes I work at nightclubs as a dancer. It's quite a tough job but I still like it. If you wanna know about the club scene in Osaka, I think I can give you good advice!!
I'm a social person and I really enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. I would love to introduce Osaka to you!!
I'm looking forward to seeing you, let's make fabulous memories in Osaka! :)
