You'll have access to a (clean) shared bathroom and a (sometimes messy) shared kitchen. The kitchen has an oven, a kettle and a toaster but no microwave.
This is a quiet family home. You may see members of the family, or the two students who lodge here.
I'll be abroad but reachable on the phone if needed.

You'll be staying in a quiet family home - this is perfect if you're looking for somewhere calm to sleep and explore Reykjavík. It's not suitable if you want a place to have friends over for dinner etc.
I'm just subletting the room while I spend a few weeks abroad. As it happens, the house is sometimes run as a guesthouse during the summer, so it is quite well setup for short term stays.
