In the heart of Little Italy, this cozy high-end modern one-bedroom, second floor apartment in a century-old Victorian is on a quiet residential street, surrounded by Toronto's trendiest restos, bars and boutiques. It's super comfy and clean and we're around if you need anything.
According to our guests, the pictures don't do the place justice. It's very homey, comfortable and spotless and the feel of the place is very inviting and cozy. For a weekend or a semester, it's a great home away from home.
It's a second-floor, one bedroom apartment. Being a second floor, you get to walk up stairs to the apartment. It's the price we pay to not stay in a basement! The bedroom has a queen bed, but we can offer a blow up mattress for up to 2 additional people.
It has a full kitchen (but you'd probably just eat out at one of the many many amazing restaurants in the 'hood), gorgeous bathroom and great den (which we call the sun room because of the seven windows!). The Den has a TV w wifi (for Netflix, etc), a desk for work and a washing machine for your dirty clothes!
This self-contained apartment has everything you'll need for your stay in Toronto. And with 24-hour check in, there's no need to worry about your arrival time. With a pre-arranged keycode to unlock the door, you can arrive whenever you want. Or whenever your delayed flight gets you here :)
We live downstairs with our young children and share the house with the other apartments tenanted by very respectful people. We're usually available in person if you need anything and always by phone. And we're always looking for extra people to round out a Cataan game!
If you're driving, please check for road closures and construction. If it's above freezing, one or the other will be happening somewhere!
This house has a beautiful vibe in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Small early evening dinner gatherings are great but no parties, no smoking, and no pets due to allergies.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
My wife and I are natural hosts. We both moved to Toronto 20 years ago and have been hosting family and friends ever since. We'd be happy to be as involved with Toronto suggestions as you like.
We've also traveled a fair bit and know what it's like to explore a new city - from the major tourist sites to sitting in a neighbourhood cafe, there's a lot to see and do here!
Personally, I enjoy being active, traveling and spending time with our kids. It's best when they're all combined! Skiing in Japan is the next family trip we'd love to take.
