Very spacious apt...not slick and shiny new, but beautifully charming with a lot of quirky character...just like our city. Its set in a historic, wooded, very walkable neighborhood just north of downtown with great restaurants and a local grocery within a couple of blocks. Perfect for those who like to be in the city, but feel like you're not.
1 Bedroom apartment (separate room with privacy from the rest of the apartment, but no private door - previously the entry parlor to this mansion) with additional queen sized futon in a nook off of the living room, 1 full bath, living room and small, galley kitchen (limited, bu adequate cookware). Wrap around front porch with seating, friendly neighbors and a quiet neighborhood.
Guests have full access to the apartment, front porch, yard and private parking in the driveway off of a back alley - careful pulling in, it was an old covered garage and has a low concrete divider between spaces.
You'll have the whole place to yourself during your stay and will let yourself in (key lock box in entry foyer at front door) and lock up when you leave, but I'm always available by text or phone. Friendly neighbors and landlord are available in person in the event of an emergency.
We don't use/have a television, but the wifi is very fast and good for streaming movies, etc.
Cookware is somewhat limited but adequate.
