We have a small loft room in Amsterdam West, next to Rembrandtpark, in the trendy Baarsjes area. 10 min with tram, bus or bike to the city centre.
We offer free WiFi, a personal guided tour of the city and a fantastic breakfast!
Welcome to a real Airbnb experience in Amsterdam - with a Dutch and Swedish host, who gladly will give you a free guided tour of the city (if you wish: by bike, but you will need to rent bikes around the corner). We have been Airbnb-ing ourselves and would like to offer something more than the regular Airbnb hosts: to actually be there and give you maps, tips of places and restaurants and a magnificent breakfast every day!
We renovated the whole apartment in 2015, from floor to ceiling. It is a light apartment with a lovely view of the park. The area is really calm, with little traffic, still close to restaurants, bars and tram/bus stops (3 min walk).
Since summer 2016 we have a new family member: a baby girl! But don't worry, you will sleep in your own loft room and will not be disturbed by the baby. =) It is however a good thing if you like babies in general, since she will be around the apartment and love to meet new people.
We provide bed sheets and towels.
The bathroom and the toilet is shared.
Our loft room is small but cozy and has a view of the Rembrandtpark tree tops. It has a small wash stand, a pull-out-sofa for 2 persons and free WiFi access.
You will have access to livingroom, toilet and bathroom (shared).
Unlike the Airbnb's where we have been (in London, Rome etc) we want to make it feel less like a hotel and more like a personal Bed&Breakfast. Therefore we offer a guided tour in our fantastic city (we know it like the back of our hand), by bike if you wish (there are several bike rental shops in the neighborhood), restaurant tips etc etc
We love to prepare a really nice breakfast in the morning for our guests. You can expect pancakes, berries, coffee, fresh pressed orange juice, eggs, bread, cereals, yoghurt etc
The loft room is 4 stairs up and our apartment 2 stairs up. You have a seperate key to the loft room.
You are welcome to spend time in our living room. We would love to hear more about your travelling experiences!
You are, unfortunately, not allowed to use our kitchen. (We prepare your breakfast in the morning.)
We expect you to be a friendly, relaxed guest in our house, respecting the shared space and and not be too noicy in the evening.
