We are located in the sought after Latin Quarter/St. Germain arrondissement, one of Paris's most prime locations near shopping, restaurants, museums and monuments.
Winter has arrived in Paris and the city of light is in full swing. The days are warm and bright with mild evenings, perfect for strolling the banks of the Seine amongst all the activities. With business back to usual and University students preparing for finals there is electricity in the air and plenty of taste and style in the streets. Decorations adorn the shops and seasonal products fill the boutiques with articles for sale as the season is alive. The air carries a mixture of bright colors and comforting odors from the boulangeries with their fresh baked croissants & breads to warm and entice the senses while the smell of seasonal flowers in the Luxembourg Gardens press you onward toward home where the retreat of a warm apartment can be a welcome comfort for memories to last a lifetime.
Decorated in contemporary period complimented with modern amenities and equipped with all the appliances you will need. You'll be received in a manner to make you feel as if you are a part of the city.
This 775 sq. ft. / 72m2 apartment measures 30 sq meters on the ground floor composed of one L-shaped great room & 42 sq meters downstairs with a kitchen and bonus room.
The King size bed folds out from the wall as a Murphy Bed. New mattress purchased August 2016. The day-bed format has a two twins; one rolls out from under the other twin for side-by-side accommodations. This second twin bed sets up at the foot of the King size bed. Perfect for families, but not accommodating for two couples seeking separate space for intimacy.
All linens, white bath towels and hand towels provided. Washing machine/dryer, oven with ceramic halogen burners, full fridge, CD/stereo, shower, hair dryer, iron & board and phone with answering machine included.
High Speed Internet access and wireless ready. FREE international phone calls to the US and US cell phones, Canada and 90 other countries including the EU. Cable television with nine English language channels including CNN, CNBC, BBC, Bloomberg and more.
Travel deals should be abundant throughout the year, and likely into 2017. A competitive travel market is a boon for travelers, so take advantage of the weak euro while you can! As Paris is the most visited city in the world the 3% downturn in travel might just make your visit a little less crowded and a little more personal.
I have received a comment about a condition called "salpetre" or Potasium Nitrate deposit on the limestone walls of the cellar. This white salt crystallization from the stonework is kept vacuumed off the walls but can be noticed. A non-toxic and harmless substance that is used in medicine to actually Treat Asthma and has no allergic affect so should not mistakenly be confused with a fungi or mold. Remember, this stonework dates back to 400 & 700 AD Roman periods, and then 1580 when the Ursulines Convent was built on the same foundation.
With 16 years experience in accommodating travelers to the best vacations of their lives, I look forward to making your upcoming trip comfortable and memorable.
There is an interphone/camera at the front door of the townhouse. When you arrive, ring the buzzer and I will come down to greet you and bring your luggage into your apartment.
I live on-site to take care of the five apartments I rent to travelers and am able to assist you with your day-to-day activities or provide suggestions for any wishes you may have in visiting Paris.

Directions to the townhouse form Gare du Nord:
You will want to follow signs to the RER B Train The RER B line runs directly from Gard du Nord to within two blocks from the townhouse. A metro ticket costs 1.70 euros per person and you can buy a ticket at a ticket window in the station. Board the RER B heading in the direction to ANTHONY/ROBINSON at the head of the train where the conductor is. This will put you at the closest exit to our street. The ride is three stops to LUXEMBOURG station so stay near the doors.
Once you get off at Luxembourg station, follow the signs to the exit "Rue de l'abbee de l'epee". There are escalators to take you upstairs to the ground level. When you are on the street level you will be facing the direction toward the street, rue de l'abbee de l'epee where you will turn left. Go one block along the side of the Church St. Jacques and make the first right onto rue St. Jacques. We are on the following left hand street, 14 rue des Ursulines. The townhouse is the corner building and is light yellow in color. There is a white doorbell that you can ring and I will come down to open the door and help with your luggage.
PS. Be aware of pickpockets on any form of transportation and survey your luggage, purse and belongings.
Guest book onsite for full function of the apartment.
There is a complete smoking ban in all apartments and common areas. No Smoking allowed in the apartment or common areas, not even with the windows open!
Smoking guests are asked to step outside the building and smoke on the sidewalk or stroll the neighborhood if they care to smoke.
Breaking smoking rules will result in a forfeit of the security deposit to perform a disinfection procedure (not just Febreez) to remove nicotine and 3-ethynylpyridine (3EP) carcinogens from the surfaces and fabrics of the entire apartment. We try to provide a clean environment to protect non-smoking guests from exposure to tobacco smoke and tobacco-specific carcinogens.
