NB: there are 17 steps from the street to the house , then steps internally to the apartment. One bathroom, ensuite to the main bedroom. Min. 3 nights public and school holidays.
My home is 110 years old, a 'mansion'. The 1st floor apartment is upstairs, modernised for comfort but in keeping with the delights of a Federation- style building. There is a separate entrance for guests. There is lots of light and sunshine. The 2 main bedrooms are large. Main has queen bed. The other has 2 singles and a lounge, desk, and tv . Both of these rooms have air con and ceiling fans.
PLEASE NOTE: the one bathroom is en-suite to the main bedroom: the other occupants have to walk through that bedroom to the bathroom. So this apartments suits families or those who can make this work.
The harbour view from the- eat- in sun room is amazing. There is a lounge in this room as well.
The apartment has its own private entry, all your needs are there. There is a key 'garage' with code sound you arrive when I'm not there: though usually I am there to welcome you. The laundry is shared, and guests are welcome to use it. The courtyard garden is very pretty.
I live on the main floor of the house, available for welcome, orientation, and any questions you may have.My area is separated from the apartment by double doors in the hallway. Private for us both. After welcoming you and giving you information about the apartment and the delights of Manly and Sydney, you can settle in and enjoy your space.
There is a garage available. It was built long ago, before 4 wheel drives etc! so won't take a 'high top' car. it's actually 2160mm should you want to check your car. The door never closes these days, but it provides convenient off street parking. As my home is on a corner block, the garage is situated around the corner.
(Best to drive down the street towards the harbour, turn right, and first opening is my garage (painted pale yellow)).
For street parking I have a parking permit which allows unlimited parking.
Parking spots are at a premium because it is so convenient to Manly's centre and the beaches, so you may have to go around the block to find a space. Actually for around Manly you don't need a car, everything is in walking distance.
this is a residential area, so consideration for our neighbours when coming and going is appreciated. No smoking.
