A small but lovely studio suite with it's own private entrance (and self check-in, if desired). There is a comfy queen bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and full bath w/soaking tub/shower. A seating alcove makes into bunks for 2 small people if needed (in the same room). Secure storage for bikes and plenty of car/boat off-street parking. Be sure to check out the photos.
Southern Utah is an outdoorsman's paradise, 23.5 miles from Zion, 1.5 hr from Brian Head. Hurricane has two lakes and lots of off road trails. You can actually drive your OHV from our door to the trails. Mountain bike trails are the best available. If you're a 'roadie' cyclist - there are miles and miles of safe riding. For the really timid, the Virgin River Trail is close, with 10 miles of paving and no hills. An Ironman event is held in Hurricane annually.
You will have private access to your studio guest suite, with its own fully equipped kitchen (inventory in advance - upon request) and bath (soaking tub/shower). The accommodations are modest in size, with no additional sitting room. There is a seating alcove which also converts to bunks, but is in the same room. There is also plenty of parking and secure facilities for your recreational toys. It will accommodate 2 adults and 2 smaller people.
You may have whatever interaction you desire. Our goal is to make you comfortable but also respect your privacy. We will be available to help you enjoy your stay and can email/text/call back and forth to help plan for all your needs.
If you have a small pet you just can't leave at home, we can discuss and negotiate.
No smoking inside and no butts on the ground outside. Other than that, we just want you to enjoy your visit to this lovely part of the world and treat our home as you would your own (or better).
My husband and I are both retired transplants from CA; he from site management on power industry projects and me from a law practice. We have lived here for 25 years and love the area. We like to explore the off road trails in our jeep and I (not my husband) am one of the oldest 'roadie' cyclist around. We occupy our time with these activities and various service projects in the community. We find it very satisfying to share the knowledge of how incredible life is in Southern Utah for those who love the outdoors and friendly, helpful people.
