The rental is for the top floor space which has its own entrance and privacy. This is in a very nice peaceful location which also benefits from being not to far away from the transport network.Sleeps 4 adults plus 2 children. The house has 2 bedrooms with a double and queen size bed, two bathrooms, one of which has a shower, living room with a fireplace and a folding out settee for two people and a folding out armchair for one person. A fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and in the corridor there is a door that opens out to the terrace.
The friendly owners live across the street and are fluent in English and of course Italian. They will be happy to give advice on directions, places of interest to visit and the local Lucchesi culture.
For the energetic, surrounding the house there are walking trails and countryside. The greatest benefit of this house is for touring Tuscany as within 10 - 15 minutes you can be on the main roads for Pisa and Florence etc. The beach can be accessed within 15 - 20 minutes by car.

Andrea is a retired accountant and Lia is an ESL teacher who owns an English School. Andrea was born and raised in our house which is next to Casa Diva and his farming family has owned this real estate for centuries. Andrea is now a fulltime farmer and gardener, taking care of vineyards, oil groves and vegetable garden which tenents have free access to. Lia is off from June to October since her school is closed and is totally at the guests' disposition. She was born and raised in Sacto, Calif. by her Italian parents. Both of us enjoy entertaining and hosting guests enabling them to really get to know Italian country lifestyle and people. Our hobbies are ballroom dancing, Latin American dancing, cinema, reading and travelling. In summer I am always in the kitchen cooking since I have so many fresh veggies and share most of the food with guests so they can try Italian cooking.
